the snake half of a Lamia is easy, just a big snake, it's when I to the woman half. Since she's a Lamia Matriarch, she's supposed to be attractive to human men so that it takes less effort to make more lamias (basically, if lamias are ants, she has the potential to be a queen) I've got an image to work with, but no idea how to describe it.

 

I kept reading lamia as llama.
