I believe "What is rational is actual and what is actual is rational" is an example of what i*m talking about
It's vaguely similar to a thing that you see in poetry, such as in Swinburne's line, "fleeter of foot than the fleet-foot kid," where you describe something in the exact terms of a just-mentioned quality. I'll bet there's a name for that, too.
I do think you want paradox, as in "paradoxoically, he also said . . . ." Or maybe logically inconsistent/logical inconsistency. Fallaciously? Is this a self-contradictory sentence? Or an observation about the sentence by someone?
TMW you pick up a neglected WIP and notice that you had a character "doffing" his robe to answer the door, when you intended him to be "donning" it. The plot might have taken a whole new turn.
Tmw you hop on WF and see that one if your favorite contributors got banned... Then you realize that you had a piece of dog hair on your phone screen that made it look like the name had a strikethrough
TMW you think you and two others may have derailed the 'Useless Facts' thread with a discussion about child soldiers in World War II.
The dude has never had sex with a woman who enjoyed it. Never. Hence it's obvious that women are incapable of enjoying sex, amirite?
TMW you're reminded how shitty your laptop is but then also remember you purchased pretty much the cheapest one available so who's the real enemy?
TMW you realize just how much shit you have to do today, the day is half gone, and your list is nowhere near even half complete.
