It was literally leaping off the shelf at you.:superlaugh:
It's either a cry for attention or fate is telling you that you should REALLY read this book.

Dare I ask what the book was?

*Dearly hopes it was something really bizarre and leftfield, like "How to master Tiddlywinks."*

And for those who don't know what Tiddlywinks is, please, google it.

Is that from The Exorcist 4? I dont think I watched that one. I definitely would've remembered them trying to throw an assortment of vegetables at the ghosts.

It's like she's saying "Come at me, bro."

I heard a (reliable) story from a coworker. In their youth, he and his brother erected TV aerials. His brother slipped and fell alongside the pipe that was supposed to hold the aerial. I guess you know what it catched...

TMW you realize it’s 7pm, the wife will be home soon, and you haven’t done a single productive thing today. God I want to go back to work.

I'm afraid of another lockdown happening again over here too. If that's what you mean.

Texas is probably about to shut down again. They already shut the bars back down a few weeks ago.

    Same.

Honestly, we should've been shut down the whole time. While it would've sucked and been boring as hell, at least we would've possibly stopped the virus rather than let it run rampant until now where we're basically back at Square 1.

EDIT: Uh, folks, just realized this COVID conversation should probs go to the COVID-19 thread in the Debate section. :p

Not Rhode Island. We're one of the few states with opened bars (plexiglass and spaced-out parties) and a case rate that continues to drop.

(guess which state has had a mandatory mask order since early April and wrote the book on contact tracing?)

I will be out of a job if there's another shutdown... so over my dead body with that shit. I've got enough anti-viral peroxide sanitizer to wipe out a small planet.

TMW you have decided to just accept what's coming and you'll deal with it as needed.

TMW you are digitizing old family photos and begin to feel a closeness with your deceased ancestors, almost like a presence in the room. Not spooky but almost tangible, pleasant really. You pick up a photo that says it's your father's 5th grade class from 70 years ago. You've studied it before and always wished his specific location among the kids had been noted so you didn't have to guess which one he is. Then you notice an faint arrow drawn across the front, pointing to one kid that has to be him. The eerie part is you could swear you never saw that arrow there before, in all the years you've possessed the photo.

Cue twilight zone music. Makes one begin to wonder about the bounds of reality
