I was talking to my wife about which character from Game of Thrones she relate the most to. She said Little Finger, I said Sansa Stark. TMW I wondered who would she sell me to. LOL
Spoiler: When You wake up to find out you won £20 on the Thunderball last night during the thunderstorm.
Tmw your eye doctors says you dont need to wear your glasses inside..... But the tv in your livingroom says you do. .....i have to stand near nose to screen just to see what channel im changing it to, and more than HALF the stuff i watch has subtitles. I just got a farsi horror movie that i wnt to watch so eff you, doctor, im wearing my glasses
When you find and watch an old movie from your childhood on tv and go into full tilt cognitive dissonance after completely failing to understand how you don't remeber this scene. AT ALL! Good movie though, very interesting cross cultural / race relations considering our current climate. Meh, maybe they just didn't take themselves as seriously as millennials do.
TMW you are walking in a sunlight-dappled oak woods and realize that it all is as it's meant to be, but you also realize you still don't know what "it" is.
You okay little ex-tiger bunny? I saw a nature documentary one time, maybe Alaska, where there was this wolf chasing down something sheepazoid. They ran and they ran, and the prey ducked and dodged and parried and weaved, but eventually Mr. Fangy caught up to it and they both just lay down together, panting from the chase, seeming to know both of them that all was it was meant to be... Stay safe out there in the woods.
I liking how that profile picture changed with the attitude! Bunny is starting to look more Monty Python by the second.
That moment when a mother and her family realize they're in a dangerous storm and need to get to safety. (Hope it's okay to put it in this thread. I wanted to share this video with you all and wasn't sure where was best.)
Wow. I often half joke about envying the storms over in America, but that clip certainly brings the reality of it home. And I think it's safe to say that was a fairly mild example. That last kid took so long to get out of the damn car I was screaming at him!
It was mild as compared to storms that batter the east coast, but it's rare for Iowa to see 100 mph winds unless a major tornado is involved. This storm didn't actually come out of nowhere, but for one it damage such a huge portion of the state was unexpected. It did take him a long time to get out. Many who have seen the video have commented on how composed the boy in the front seat was.
When I watch it again I think the door he's trying to get out of is being forced back by the wind, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
It's interesting, even in an emergency, how mom's social conditioning held strong as she put the minivan in a proper parking space some distance from the entrance. I think she would have been justified in putting it a bit closer.
I had a Monty Python rabbit for a while. He couldn't reach jugulars, thank god, but be drew blood from every person or animal that got too close. Vicious little shit. The worst part was when my girlfriend at the time decided for some reason that we needed a second rabbit. (Never impulse shop at a pet store.) Patrick the evil rabbit made poor Mr. Thundercleese his prison bitch until we separated them. I was so glad when she got custody of the rabbits after the breakup. I will never own one again.
