I Love the robot stuff (the real robots). I half suspected this wasn't real though, because of how agile they are and because I didn't hear the whine of the motors, that you always hear with the dog-bots every time a limb moves. It used to be really loud, Maybe they found a way to silence it? But it does seem to be an actual Boston Dynamics video, I don't think they'd post anything fake.

But damn, that's some serious American Ninjabot stuff right there!

Dances can be choreographed and simple though. Albeit even this sequence could be. But it's unlikely because the ability/balance they are showing requires very precise ability to be react to changes in every step. The only way it was choreographed is if they attempted it while risking breaking the robots which seems unlikely to me.

Yup very choreographed. Every step is "too perfect" and ends up in exact replica of movements. Still pretty amazing. But the parkour one blows my mind because it looks very reactive to the steps and gaps and doesn't quite have that robotic strides exactly. It just appears scarily natural.

TMW you notice that the perfectly acceptable case you just bought for your new tablet is 10,918th in the Tablet Case Bestseller list.

Who knows what’s real these days?? The first one had me in awe, this one gave me a huge grin all the way through, especially when they ‘mash potato’.

TMW you see that, of the nineteen items on your desk, one was made somewhere other than China.

Also tmw you show 2 coworkers who are 5-10 years older than you, and they say "who's Freddie Mercury?"

Yeah, there's that massive Queen gap between the Live Aid/Wayne's World surge and the movie of a few years ago. They were easy to miss in that 25 year interim, aside from the uniquity of their music. They still kick ass but tend to get lost between pop culture booster shots.

TMW you realize that you've been posting a lot more often than normal for the last week or so, here and other forums, but don't know why.

Haha. That was supposed to be "ubiquity," though I suppose uniquity works too, assuming it's a real word, though I believe uniqueness is more proper. Whatever... I type what I want!

Some of my friends are appallingly bad at communicating via text. I just roll with it. Apparently they prefer personal interaction? Whatever, dude.

Haha. I love you for that. It sucks but you make people nervous by showing any sort of enthusiasm. It kinda sucks.

So you have to do this weird dance where you kind of pretend to not like it as much as you do until everyone decides to let their guard down. But hey they probably missed your text. Happens to me at times and I hardly ever use social media.

That moment when after nearly 3 hours river tubing stuck on a stagnant river turns into a dystopian barter system.

....traded a beer for a kayak paddle from a woman on an inflatable raft....
