    TMW you tell the little 8 year old whose hair you just curled that she looks like Shirley Temple. Then you realize that at 8 years old in the year 2015, she probably has no clue who that is. And without skipping a beat, your little client says, "Shirley Temple? That's drink." Haha.

    Eek, that sounds really awesome! If I had a 100 Things to Do Before You Die -list, crashing a wedding would so be on it. I'd pig on the wedding cake and make everyone hate me for elbowing my way to the flower bouqet when the bride throws it.

    Thankfully a "cool front" has come in, and the high for tomorrow is only 99 degrees, instead of the standard 105-114 degrees that mid-August usually greets you with.

    I really want -- nay, need -- to get into photography. My biggest hurdle is the camera. I'm a perfectionist and I want a great DSLR, but I can't afford one. :meh:

    It's cliched, but you really don't need a great DSLR to take a grat photo. Or, conversely, the DSLRs that are entry level are great thanks to technological advances. Do you have a budget at all? Financial and temporal?

    I swear to dog this website is making me use words I do not normally.

    I really can't afford to spend more than $300 at the moment. I need it for portraits, mainly. Hair portfolio stuff.
