The Chaos Hour Discussion Thread

Teele, the story is still confuggled even with that post.
Because it just gets me wondering how the heck in the world did that happen?
Why did that happen?
And a big giant huh?
I'm dropping out of this RPG, bye.
It was nice playing with what I could play with, but its just not working out.

i've been kinda making up some stuff here and there, and i've seen Teele do the same... i'm a lil shaky on what to write cuz of the giving away my position thing... makes you be a lil craftier...

 

Aye indeed. Having a cohesive goal makes things a little easier. Especially one that doesn't involve taking out fellow PCs. Though, if Leaka's dropping out, I suppose I could have Ali kill off his character now.

 

Can you make it more sense?
If it makes more sense then maybe I won't drop out?
I understand barely what is going on.
Even with Teele trying to get everyone the same page.

You know this is like a stream of consciousness RPG, where you have no clue what the heck is going on.
All this thinking jumping from one scene to another without any cohesiveness to the thoughts or connection.

 

I don't know as if I'm completely understanding myself. I'm at the 'total improvisation' stage now; making things up that I think fit. Whether everyone else thinks they fit is another matter.

 

me too... i just went into the spot Teele went into... not to follow his char mind you, but more sense will be made... just watch, it'll somehow work itself out...

 

But I am a lost at what I am suppose to do.
Suddenly everyone is in the Chaos Hour all at once, then suddenly they are at this place and went from suddenly being in Chaos hour to Pix Club.

 

Here's my understanding:

Chaos Hour isn't a place in the Com. Its an alternate, heightened state of being within the Com. Its like having root privileges in Unix, or being the administrator of a site. You see more than the average user, and you also possess a power, dependent upon the exact nature of the Chaos Hour code key you have plugged in. We're all still in the Chaos Hour, because we can do and see these special things, and can probably access places where the Com can be manipulated.

That's my take on it, anyway.

 

My idea of Chaos hour was like a Net Slum.
Were all kinds of deleted codes and data come there to survive or whither and die.
It would be a parallel dimension to the internet and wouldn't have easy access.
Also people couldn't just blend into this dimension so easily and get into the same situation.
I thought it was a different dimension in the computer.

 

I dunno. Really, I think either explanation would kinda fit the main post. -shrug- What's everyone else think?

 

Pix Club from what i gather is IN the Chaos Hour... Chaos Hour is more like a site to me... and the Pix Club is like a lil community you go into once you get on... that's how i view it...

 

Okay cool. So maybe I'm the one whose ideas are screwed over.

 

really it's your idea... whatever you want it to be, that's what it is... that's just what popped up in my mind...

 

We can agree we all have different ideas.

 

Well, for now, it may prove an interesting diversion. I'll see where it takes us. Maybe if Ore-Sama can point me in the right direction as to whether the Chaos Hour is a state of virtual being, or an actual place in which normal Com rules no longer apply, I'll be able to improvise us out of this slump.

this is an interesting RPG, cuz Ore-Sama doesn't really post as a character... just the current events...

 

I only wish those current events weren't so vague.

 

i'm sure he'll come up with some crazy stuff down the line... i can almost feel it...

 

hey y'all (mainly Teele)... i gotta step out... i might not be back til tomorrow... in Teele's case, if our characters cross paths again, npc my guy for me... he uses an idiot cover, but it's really to gauge others... he pretty much trusts her because they're in the same boat with the guards and all...

 

Ten four. I just had Alethea do the classic 'vent duct' thing. I might not be around much more tonight myself. We shall see.
