Omg, I know what it is! It's the Premise that I mean, the essence of a story. I have too many of them, that's why my stories feels messy and out of focus. I jumpin too quickly, I don't take time to identify the what the story is about, getting attached to other ideas until I move further and further away from what the story was originally about.
