Not sure. I for one keep postponing a game I have in mind because new stuff keeps popping up. Also, with the current amount of active games, I don't see how I could create a game with enough players. It's a bit of a vicious circle, really, and to be completely honest, I thought this game would fail. I thought the timing was quite off, goes to show what I know... Should you? Well yes if you think you have the time to gm it regularly. I've been thinking alot about what makes a good RPG and I think what Exzalia did so very well is that he was online (almost) everyday and progressed the story everyday. Nothing kills a game more than lack of progress. If you can deliver progress (which requires time), then go for it. Oh and I was wondering, are you still pursuing the craft of short-story writing?
Macaberz: Oh and I was wondering, are you still pursuing the craft of short-story writing? I loled a bit at that part. Mainly because the question is directed at someone with the name Love to Write........ I just giggled for some reason. I'm giddy
Hey, don't laugh. RPing is addictive. I know I went through a phase where RPGs was all I did and my offline writing pretty much ground to a halt. It can happen. Especially if you're GMing. Beware the dangers of online roleplaying!!! *wags mighty finger of disapproval*
I wasn't laughing at her name nor was I laughing at anything......really I was laughing at the oddity of it. As I said I''m giddy today. So when someone asks "Are you writing short stories still?" to a person who clearly loves to write I couldn't help but giggle. I meant no offense. As for RPGing being addictive. Yes it is. Writing in general is addictive. But RPG's they are deadly things.
LOL, I was being sarcastic, man. No offense taken. Although the part about me going into super-RPG-mode where I wrote nothing but online chars is true. And had a blast doing it, too.
I had the problem for a bit to actually. But I'm back into the swing of thing with my regular writing. Short stories and planning mostly. Though three characters I created in RPG's sort of graduated into being in my regular writing. That ever happen to you?
All the time, though it usually goes the other way around: I take characters I've been working on for a story and "test drive" them in an RPG.
Cool. I've been wanting to write something with serial killers lately. So I'm probably going to do that. Just trying to figure out if I want it from the killers (two of them) POV or the person after them.........hmmmmm.
Kingtype, Maybe from both of their perspectives? And Draven the Sea Witch has made her entrance. She's quite friendly, as you can all tell.
Love to Write I enjoyed Jumpers alot. Especially because of Eudoxia and Seven. They made it for me. Do I think now is the time. I don't know. Because like Macaberz I am postponing a game. Though, for Jumper to reboot, would be sad for me. But it is your story, it is your decision. I would be willing to join, though. I personally have no idea as to when. Bewitched Finally someone else who uses magic
I felt inspired to compose something for this game. I always have dozens of ideas, but fail to record them until I begin to run out of ideas...It's, like always, nowhere near finished, I probably never will. Anyway, here it is: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/21377123/VoidMP3.mp3
TheLeonard112 thanks. I am wondering, when will the guards of the town show up? Party or not, this queer little company is making quite the row... I just don't want to godmod Keitsumah, but I think its safe to say that they are all drawing attention big time. And if they didn't, Zebulon's roar and the tidal wave certainly changed that. The sailor and his kid must be like 0.o
I completely forgot they were there. Well, think about it. I don't think the entire island could put up a fight against the people on that shore.
King's CHAT ROOM! (Blaine and Pickles!) Pickles: Hello um whom are you sir? Blaine: I'm a teacher. Pickles: Oh that's terrific! I was never much good at schooling. But my little girl and my wife are really smart. Blaine: Never fear Blaine is here. A man can only be as smart as the family breeds after all. Pickles: What? Blaine: Nothing! Pickles: What's with the bandages? Did you get hurt? Blaine: To contain my poison. Its a medical thing. Pickles: You think they would help my Tassy!? Blaine: Calm down. loudness is next to devilness Pickles: I'm pretty its cleanliness is next to godliness. Blaine: Who's the wise man here? Pickles: Oh you are sir. I'm ever so sorry for cutting you off. Blaine: That's right. Pickles: Right Blaine: Yep Pickles: Soooo which part of Exzalia are you from? Blaine: Exzalia? Please. Do I like like I'm from Exzalia? Pickles: Oh! Sorry! Blaine: Baaaaaaaaaah! Stop saying sorry. What are you some kind of saint? You'll make a fine teachers pet.
