Yeah, yeah, yeah... Merry Christmas and all that, but I think we've kind of papered over the more important issue here: This is it, people. The final two episodes of David Tennant and the Tenth Doctor, not to mention the current TARDIS, Sonic Screwdriver, Head Writer and the Logo as well. Described by Tennant as "A Tale of Gods, but Gods who are fallible", the two parter features the Return of John Simm as The Master as the Tenth Doctor's final days play out. This is set up to be the greatest, grandest and most perilous episode of Doctor Who since it rebooted in 2005. I can't believe it's almost over. *sniff* This will be fun.
But all good things must come to an end. Even the Dr. knows that. Better to go out on top than wheeze its way to the grave as no one is looking because they no longer care, aye?
Part 1 just finished. Spoiler HOLY CRAP! Let me just say that it is very very... good.
John Simm, FTW. Same with David Tennant. He's been the best Dr ever and I'm going to miss him. The first part was excellent and give it 15 mins and the second part will begin.
Apparently my dad's met Matt Smith's mother and worked with her at the local paper in Northampton. Just a bit of interest, there.
That was awesome. I'm in tears. I'm going to miss David Tennant. "I don't want to go!" "We don't want you to go either David!!!!!!"
^ That's pretty interesting actually. Spoiler What did you think of his little bit at the end? I thought it was very different to number 10, which is a good thing. Better to go completely different than to have another actor try to play the same character. Also: "I don't want to go." I nearly cried. @Fantasy: SPOILERS! Before Someone who has not seem the awesome is spoiled!
I like Matt Smith, I think he will make a good Doctor. Not as good as Mr. Tennant, but a good one. He's different and I like it. I don't think he will be as good as David Tennant, but I'll give him a chance.
... Huh? I said "Not as good as Mr. Tennant? That's a given, really." Meaning "Of course he won't be as good as Mr. Tennant. Nothing can be as good as Mr. Tennant."
Spoiler Oh man I can't believe Wilfred, stupid old Wilfred got stuck in that door. Could he not have used the tardis to stop Wilfred coming along in the place? Time-Travel confuses me, its probably for the best that I'm not a Time-Lord. I wasn't happy with Matt Smith's introduction, he didn't have the same energy, which is the point but I didn't like him describing his new features while the audience are in mourning, it just didn't fit.
I'm not sure I like the Eleventh Doctor. Maybe it's the haircut, I dunno, but the Tenth Doctor will always be Doctor Who. EDIT: Is it true that there can only be 13 Doctors? Why's that?
