    The Eye of Argon thread

Discussion in 'Discussion of Published Works' started by Kalisto, Nov 20, 2021.

Because I said I would in one of the other forums, it is now here.

Here is the link to the book if you wish to enjoy...

    https://www-users.cs.york.ac.uk/~susan/sf/eyeargon/eyeargon.htm

Where you can discuss such lines as "Small rodents scampered about, occupying themselves in the daily accomplishments of their dismal lives." and "'Prepare to embrace your creators in the stygian haunts of hell, barbarian', gasped the first soldier."

I mean, these lines don't just write themselves.

    Yeah, no

We had this with Empress Theresa and the same applies here. Its fine to discuss a published work with the intent to actually discuss it, but a thread dedicated to laughing at a particular work when the author isn't here to defend themselves isn't on

Think how you'd feel if it was your book being derided and laughed at. Then think about how it would look for a writing forum to do that.
