I typoed 'is' instead of 'it.' Sorry. Yeah... They do seem to be panicking. Bethesda: Don't worry, there will still be a story. Me: What? Like Fallout 4? Shit!
Yes, I'm beginning to wonder if this is going to be a proper instalment in the series. The announcer in that video talk about it being your job to 'rebuild the commonwealth'. So, just like in 4, then? There's nothing to suggest the series is moving forward and/or offering anything new... which is a slight worry.
Its looking like a gaming night an I just can't figure out what to joyfully waste hours on. VTMB or FO;NV. On one hand, VTMB is always a blast and I haven't beaten the game with a Tremere Vamp yet. On the other, I really do miss roaming the wasteland with Ed-E. Decisions, decisions.
If only my old laptop didn't bite the dust.... Welp, gonna play VTMB for a bit. The music in the game is pretty neat, but the Hollywood theme is just the epitome of chill.
Aids Simulator is a thing..... Wtf. Yesh. I know being offensive is profitable right now but damn. Edit - Lol the description says it all, Features: - Asset Flip - Very short - NO NUDITY - Poor performance - First-person shooter - Zero effort cash grab I wonder how much money it'll make.
The first of three DLC arrived a few days ago for Far Cry 5, and I'm loving it. Only a small map, but it's been beautifully realised (as far as my knowledge of Vietnam goes) and the stealthy element is ace - I feel like Che Guevara when I'm playing it.
I purchased Far Cry 5 when it came out toward the end of March, but I haven't played it yet. I got stuck on God of War, then decided I was wasting too much of my precious free time on video games to justify playing another one. I know I'll get stuck in it like I did Far Cry 4. It drives me nuts because there are so many things I want to do, but my time is seriously limited by a young daughter.
@Spencer1990 - well there's no mad rush. The game will always be there when you have the time. Despite the DLC's map being about 8% that of the main game's, I think I'm enjoying it more, so if you can afford to drop $13 for it, I'd say do so.
Yep! Where do you guys think it's going to take place? I'm guessing High Rock because the land looked very mountainous in the teaser, and on the right you can see a large body of water, which High Rock is surrounded by a lot of
In the land of no multiplayer. Serious note: Could be High Rock. Was hoping for Valenwood so we could take the fight to the Thalmor. But alas, that trailer didn't look like a massive forest. Also...Starfield! Man we need a new space rpg.
Fallout 76...No NPCs. All other characters are players. >_> Always online......goddammit. But hey, Starfield and TES VI! Honestly. Even though I'm a huge Fallout nerd and I was a little upset at the direction of 76, I hope Bethesda succeeds with the new project. I'll look forward to their single-player stuff (Starfield and TES).
This has annoyed me far more than it should. I watched the conference on my phone, and when he said "... and yes, it's entirely online." and everyone started whooping like a troop of fucking baboons, I nearly hurled it at the wall. It's especially annoying, not to mention obscenely hypocritical, when you consider Bethesda employed the services of an A-list actor to make a mock appeal video in which the actors are plotting how to 'Save the single player campaign.' Shouldn't come as much surprise, really. If they continue down the offline campaign route, they keep their loyal fan base, but probably without attracting many new ones. This way, they might lose a handful (me included) who refuse to play online, but they're gonna attract a shit-load of wankers... sorry, I mean online players, who will be clamming to get on there and start griefing other players. And I'm not mature enough to wish Bethesda well. I personally hope the venture is a monumental disaster! On the plus side, there's always this.
Dammit. My old gaming laptop would've been able to run this New Vegas mod. But my current one can only just run Fallout 2 so.....yeah, goddammit.
Its only fun for so long though. And my laptop literally can't run anything else I've tried. It could probably run Fallout 1, too, but that game isn't my cup of tea in the morning. Loved the main antagonist. But getting the water chip in a set amount of days annoyed me, ha.
While I haven't played more than 20 hours of either game, I've found them both to be rather fun for what they are. Then again, I've never played any of the Bethesda Fallout games, so I may have come at the game with a different mind set.
