The Uncharted games are definitely not my favorite. But, they are also far from my least favorite. With that said, I wont complain about getting all three of them for free--even I didn't like them.
I've been on way too much of a Skyrim session, since well.... 11/11/11 haha Games that immersive shouldn't be THAT big, how's anybody supposed to get any writing done?!
They are overrated games, but they are still very, very good. For me, Uncharted 1 was a bit of a mess, the combat was inconsistent, really easy at times and rip your hair out hard at others and the shooting mechanic left a lot to be desired. Naughty Dog hit their stride with Uncharted 2 though, it was a great immersive experience, very cinematic, funny and most importantly, just very enjoyable to play! They're not my favourite games either, by a long stretch, but they're a great way to kill a dull evening
Swtor Anyone else playing this game? I have, among other characters, Imperial Agent Sultry, on the Lord Adraas server.
I used to have a life like you, but then I took an arrow to the knee. <is shot for using that horrible and really overdone meme> Yeah, my Breton warrior is now level 23. Beat the main quest and Dark Brotherhood. Now I'm trying to figure out what else she can do.
Skyrim is definitely the best game I've played in a long time. It's huge! I've been playing for days, and haven't touched the main storyline!
I'm largely indifferent to Skyrim. The good graphics and epicness of size is balanced by the quality of the graphics and the epicness of size. Such a good looking game will be hard to smooth all the glitches out for any company, and the fact that it's published by Bethesda says more bad than good in this respect. And the sheer size of the game would make it almost impossible to balance properly. It's kind of like an Alpha, when everything is working and it's on a good bit of road it can take your breath away, but problems do come along alot. I've been playing Empire: Total War. I love the Total War games, and this one is no exception at all.
I was smitten with Skyrim at first. But, now fifty hours in, I am bored and the grandeur has worn off. Now I am starting to notice the flaws. I am really looking forward to Kingdoms of Amalur, Ni No Kuni and Xenoblade Chronicles.
Heh. Apparently, every quest in the game is played out as a cut scene, where you have two or three responses to pick from, instead of just reading text and clicking 'accept.' It does tell to help generate an interest in the actual story line. The Imperial Agent story line has been fun, and I've already been able to screw over the Sith and get some of them killed even though we're ostensibly on the same side.
I worked for mmohut.com very briefly, used to surf through all the games and play a few. Used to love Wolfteam until they sold out, played with all the 'pro' players in lobbies, alot of fun. Might be getting into one but I was looking towards LOTRO online, this game does look good though. Any idea of the computer graphics required to play it? I'd be on my laptop if so and it's not the most powerful.
Lord of the Rings is kind of old. It isn't that bad to run. You can also check out any game here: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/intro.aspx
I know that LOTRO will be ok chap, it's the other that i'm worried about. Cheers for the link though, i'll save that for future reference! Currently writing a 40,000 word game guide of Diablo 3 for a gaming site so may have to wait until after that's released and the editing is done till I get stuck into one Isn't the agent in this game supposed to be OP in the PvP? Sniping across the map works a little too well at the moment I think.
It's very good. Try out the Witch Doctor, love anything with a voodoo feel to it! The Monk is incredibly cool too, i'd be using the Demon Hunter alot if I were to play it for myself, but after the guide I suspect I won't want to touch that game for a long time afterward
I've been playing it since the 16th (though had a week off during Christmas) and have finally decided I can't have more than two characters on each side. More than that are just too many. I'm pretty sure I'll go with my badass Sith Marauder on the Sith side, and the Jedi Guardian and Trooper on the Republic side. But who's the last sith? I'm leaning towards the cyborg bounty hunter, but I haven't tried the Imperial Agent much. And the double-blade sith assassin is just too awesome to not use. Hmpf. Oh, and the reason I'm sticking to my sith marauder is simple enough. I have a slave with a collar that zaps her with electricity when I press a button on the remote. So far I've used it three times. Two of them in the same conversation. "Speak when you're spoken to, slave!" *zap* "I was helping you!" "Very good, slave. But I told you not to talk unless spoken to!" *zap* Somehow I don't think there'll be many presents under my tree next year... Btw the inquisitor (now assassin) is fun, too. *zaaaap* "Ah, don't do that! I beg you!" "What? Oh, this?" *zaaaaap* ;D
