Deus Ex: HR is excellent, the only game I liked more last year was Dark Souls, and even then just barely. Bioshock 2 is very good, not quite so good as the first, but not many games are. I didn't like Dungeon Siege 3 too much, but that's probably because I have the console version.
Yeah, i figure it can't be much worse then the Dragon age series, which are massivly overrated. Plus i never played a DS game, thus i think i'll be okay. Dark Souls was GOTY last year without question. Really need to get The Witcher 2, which is 2012 GOTY. Will be cheap soon.
I haven't really kept up with all the new releases and such, however I would really like to get Mafia 2; the first one had an amazing storyline.
Just bought a Playstation Vita with Uncharted and Wipeout 2048. LOVING IT! What's great is, not owning a PS2 and PS3, which means some of the games i've never played, like Uncharted. Also will be buying, via PSN, all the Disgaea and Persona games. In bed on a cold night, with the electric blanket on, the tv light in the distance and the misses asleep while i play the Vita with headphones is gaming heaven. Only thing i do not like is the hidden costs of memory cards. They are not cheap. EDIT, but it has Facbook is crap on it. better than the iphone in terms on working out what is what, but the lag kills it. Youtube for the vita is PERFECT.
currently playing Diablo 3 (fun even if it is short), I am dying to play the Darkness 2, and yesterday I sample the demo for a PS3 game called Vanquish. It was very fun.
Its so pretty and violent. They did it in a graphic noir style, like the comic books. The finishing moves are wonderfully gory. I'm a little concerned about quadweilding but those who have played it assure that it soon becomes second nature.
I'll eventually grab it. The first is one of the most underrrated games this generation. Not sure IF, but i hope the voice the the darkness is still the same. I know the dude who did jackie, isn'tm which is slightly dissapointly as i loved the guy who did it.
Mike Patton!!!!! I love him so. He's the lead singer of Faith No More and Mr. Bungle and a host of other bands. I loved how he voiced the darkness. As for the orginal, it was fun, my fave ability was controling the darkness and slithering around on the floor executing everyone on the way and then devouring their hearts. That and throwing people up into the sky and watching ragdoll effects kick in ^^
I concur. I never got to finish the first mass effect, my disc was mysteriously ruined (I suspect gnomes were involved) I must buy a new copy, finish the game then buy the second a third because I refuse to get the third and have my past decisions be decided for me damn it!
Ah, yes yes. Just played a speed run of ME (4.5 hours)for a few achievement points i still needed. I loved the last few hours of ME1, just worked so well. Enjoyed ME2, but as great as the production level was, the lack of story puts it behind the original. . Still yet to play ME3. It'll be super cheap soon.
Right. Everytime I hear a new game is coming out i tell myself "You'll get to buy it a year from the release date!" =) I'm too poor to afford 60 bucks for a video game
Re-playing old games, now. Started new files on my Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and Wind Waker, as well as starting a new file on Oblivion.
lol That game kept me sane during my last pregnancy. I was on strict bedrest and was so happy for video games to keep me occupied when I was by myself during the day. That and writing silly fan-fic but hey, it's still writing.
Still need to play the DLC for Oblivion, so i might go back one day. The add on looked good. Looked better than the main game, creative/artstyle wise at least
I had gone out and gotten oblivian elder scrolls and ended up hating it. It was okay up untill random portals to hell kept popping up everywhere you went, that and the unicorn that chases you down if you take out your sword
I played for about 80 hours before i started the main quest so i never had that problem. I have to say, i really hated the main quest in Oblivion, but it was okay because you never have to play it.
