Mass Effect...hmm... I have it for 360, except...I don't have a 360. Yeah, it's weird, but a neighbor gave me a bunch of games, most of which I sold, but I kept Mass Effect. I could buy it PC for only $30, and sell the 360 version, or I could keep it until I get a 360 (if I ever do) and already have an awesome game. My graphics card won't look as good as the 360 though.
I finished v.1 of my little big planet level!!! If any one wants to play it, its name is: "tigertopia." Any one else has any published lpb levels?
It is indeed. I dare say that though EA's announcement that the game was a series and no longer a trilogy initially worried me but Bioware's masterpiece just might survive a wee bit longer. I'm definitely handing onto me ME save now. I really want to know how their going to use it (I'd considered deleting it figuring they'd use it in the same way the .Hack games used past saves but now I'm not so sure).
I've recently gotten re-addicted to Animal Crossing Wild World for the DS. Other than that it's pretty much Halo 3 for me
Bioware is still making the series, but they have to follow EA's rules (I think that's how it works, anyway). I know that EA can be more than a little impatient and money-hungry, so release dates may be rushed... Plus, if Bioware runs out of good material to make the series with, and EA still wants more... I've never been particularly fond of EA.
I HATE EA!!! Okay, had to say that. IF they rush ME i'll not be happy. I can wait for good gaming goodness Bioware and EA are like polar oppasites i swear, but oh well.
Yeah. EA holds publishing and distribution rites to the series I think. Bioware wanted it to be a trilogy, but EA says they want it to become a staple series even if Bioware drops it after the third game like they planned (Like Halo. Bungie's done with it, but Microsoft might make more games since it still holds publishing and distribution rights to the series).
lol. I think 3 should be the last one. CE and 2 were great but 3 was just horrid in comparison to the rest of the series. Too bad Microsoft loves money...
Says something about the world of games when your have to make grwat games into "frans" What happened to creating a great game, and just leaving it Pity they didn't turn the darkness into one (I keep waiting for a second game, but oh well).
Well, the reasoning is: A game is released. It becomes popular and sells many games. Fans want more. Creators know that if they release a sequel, fans will buy it. More money, plus they're giving fans what they want. This is fine to me. Keep Mario and Zelda coming. But when the developers put no effort into the sequel and just make it for cash, that's bad.
I think there's a bit of a difference. Mario and Zelda are defining games that are so deep in the world of gaming now you can't have it without them. Plus, Nintendo putting aside everything else it is, knows how to keep it's games fresh. EA and Microsoft just bleed their franchises dry until no one wants them anymore.
If ME is ganna be a franchise rather then a 3 pronged story, well i won't be picking it up. Screw it. Same goes with Bioshock. I dont care if they bleed some games (I'm one of those that wants a re-make of FF7), but thats only because its over 10 yeas old and i want that cool story to now how cool eye candy! With Mario, its about mixing things up, being creative... i mean looks at its history. Zelda....i think that franchise is devolving
I think they have to end the Halo storyline. Maybe another game with another gameplay, etc. Anything. I wanna know what happened to MC. Good, the series been going downhill since MM. Except for TP, but it's competition was WW and TPH so it wasn't too hard to top.
I wonderr how long until Halo becomes one of those lego games...which would actually be a pretty cool improvement though.
What they actually joked along the lines of that idea? (sorry i dont keep up with bungie, i know they do an AFJ though) Good mind's think alike i guess...or bad ones.
I agree. It got ragged on cause of it's graphics but it really didn't deserve that. It was just as good as OoT imo.
I don't know. The art style was kind of a turn-off for me, and the sister, the sailing, the vaguely explained flooding, the completely harmless ganondorf and the thing about tetra being zelda or something. I just liked MM and OoT more. MM more so. But it wasn't bad. I don't think any Zelda game has been bad, but I've only played some of them, mostly the 3d ones, the gameboy ones and just one of the originals.
I've really only played TP (the one on wii), i'm not sure where it sits on the whole zelda thing, but i can't say i finished it. It had nothing to do with being hard let me say that. (Had played OOT years ago and it seemed a lot more fun - i actually wanted to plat it through)
I think that overall TP is probably the best of the series. I only rank OoT as being more important because of it's innovations.
