I can't be the only one who takes this holiday seriously:
More to come later, gotta go buy lunch.
(Oh, yeah, I kept dreaming about your avatar last night. The dream featured a girl in London who had a rug--- yes, a rug--- made out of a crocodile skin with the head on under her bed. The fact that the head was chin up made it all the creepier. And it talked. Did I mention the crocodile head talked?)
I've already posted it on another thread, but from a Halloween Party some years ago... I also built the castle gate you see behind me. My friend had known I used to build theatre props so he hit me up on making something for his Halloween bash. He thought I was going to paint a mural... what he got was a real life castle gate that was 12ft wide and 12ft high, with lights, a fog machine, and sound effects! Go big or go home!
Just imagine this guy waiting around a dark corner for you:
Enjoyed this! Creepy but refreshing. I have a couple of drawings by Drew Johnson. I'll see if I can load them but will only leave them up for a short time. Well, I had one of Edgar Allan Poe and Madame Frankenstein but they won't load from some reason. I'll use them as avatars later.
And I thought this was going to be discussing the Islamophobic Arab costumes on Amazon!
I am not sure what exactly to be this year. Though you guys will probably be the only ones to see it.
I hope no one ever considers this blackface:
Hello Kitty (actually, Officer Daniel Starr) will kick your ass:
The Chinese characters on the shield mean "Riot Police".
Elections are over but Halloween goes on -
This thread should become relevant again. Great stuff.
I found this pic, and I think it would scare the piss out somebody.
Would be a hell of a costume to see on someone.
Did I mention I love Halloween even if it is still off a few months?
(Of course for me Halloween should be year round.)
I'd hit it. I mean, if I wasn't married and all
Reminds me of Day of The Dead meets Gieger
I'm thinking of designing my own costume this year.
I'm considering going as a nurse, but definitely not showing any leg.
Do it. Even if it's "just" makeup and a combination of your clothes that you wouldn't usually put together, it's a hell of a lot of fun. My look in my senior year of high school wasn't that different to the way you present here, so for Halloween, I borrowed some boat shoes, acid-washed jeans (which were the height of mainstream fashion at the time) and an Izod polo shirt. I wore no makeup, feathered my mohawk back instead of spiking it, and did Halloween dressed as a normal person.
My best friend walked right past me in the hallway.
I'm thinking I'll be some dark queen this year.
That would be awesome.
Thank you, CT.
I was a very lazy teenager, as was my twin brother. We would just walk around saying we were each other.
Getting started on this year's costume:
