^I would too, but sadly I couldn't find any calenders this Christmas :( Yes, I have a few presents wrapped as well. I bought my mom a book she has wanted dearly, and I bought my father and two younger brothers some movies. POTC and Men in Black. They are going to be so psyched.

Aw, I haven't had one in years but my mum surprised me with one. :D POTC  Can't wait for the new film next year.

Oh, and as much as I hate shopping, I found this new shop in town which I love. And it's a fair trading company which makes it even better.

Sweet! I can't wait for POTC 4 either. And . . . I'm so looking forward to my trip to the cinema to see The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader. It's been a while since we went to the movies and my sister and first youngest brother will be splitting the costs for our whole family. It's going to be so much fun.

Oh - yeah, we bought our own car too and it's now in our driveway :D

I forgot to post about something that made me extremely happy this month. My children came home with their school reports last week. Amity's school report was... Oh my gosh! Flawless. She honestly could not be faulted what so ever on her report. If they had been given a grade, she'd of got an A+ for kindy, she has done that well. I was soooooooo proud of her that I almost cried. Now, with Mason's, his report has never been the best, ever. He has struggled all through his schooling so far, due to being unable to hear. This year, half way through, we changed schools, and his teacher understood about his hearing issues, and made extra time for Mason in the classroom, to make sure he understood all tasks and directions and that just because he couldn't hear, he wasn't missing out on his education, an area where EVERY SINGLE teacher from his previous school failed to do for him. Well, he has been there for the last semester of year 1, and when I got his school report I literally did cry. Why? Because last year he basically failed pre-primary, he wouldn't have even got a C grade to pass, but this year, with the help of these truly wonderful teachers who have helped turn his life around, Mason passed year 1 with a C+. You have no idea how over whelmed I was to see his report do a complete turn around. He used to hate sports, but now he loves it more than anything, he has confidence, he has pride, things he never had at his old school. I'm just so proud of his achievements.

I'm so proud of both my angels. They have worked so hard this year to improve their academics, and it really has shown in their reports. I know that next year, once Mason's hearing is sorted out, his grades are only going to get better and better.

Anyways, I'll shut up now, but I just had to say about how well they both did and how proud I am of them both. :):):):)

So, I've been interning at this gallery for a couple of months, doing random odd jobs. On a whim, the woman I was working with decided to let me try writing some copy for their website, artist biographical detail and work descriptions, that sorta thing.

Anyway, just got a very complimentary call from the owner of the gallery inviting me to collaborate directly with her on a new book they're publishing next year because she thought my writing was the most beautiful and poetic art writing she'd read in years.

So soon I'll be a published writer, yey!

I just drew two characters of two different races for my fantasy story. They look so cool!

I've also decided on who's going to tell the story, and it's the girl. :) I don't know what the story is going to be about, but I'm anxious to hear what she has to say.

I love break. Sleeping in until eight-thirty is delightful. Truth be told, I hardly know what to do with myself. :)

So I finally found presents for all my siblings, I just don't have one for my parents, but I'm pretty sure some of my other siblings will have been looking for that, so I don't really need to worry anymore.
    Now just the wrapping!

That's great, I'm glad you finally found a present for everyone :D Good luck with wrapping.

I'm happy, I've finally started writing. It's fanfiction, but that's better than nothing. Ouyeah, I rock :)

For Christmas (early as we'll be at our homes xmas day) I got the most precious, lovely necklace from Matt, and I'm going to wear it Christmas day and on our two year anniversary. :D It's beautiful, and far too delicate for clumsy me to wear daily.

Aww Ash that sounds lovely! :)
What does the necklace look like? I'm a huge necklace person - it's the only jewelry I wear (my ears aren't even pierced strangely enough).

I'm happy... well... just because I am.
There's nothing for me to be unhappy about haha.

    In the gallery! :D

I love necklaces; it's like I collect them, lol. I never wear any "real" necklaces though, like the one Matt bought me, because they're so delicate and I'm bound to wreck them, just like I did with every childhood gift of jewellery..../sigh.

Usually I wear clunky costume jewellery that I can lump in the jewellery box, so this'll need some taking care of!

    I'm exactly the same way!
I'm necklace obsessed and I'm also really clumsy with delicate things.
I just bought a belt not that long ago (another accessory I'm in love with) and I broke it a few days later. I really liked that belt too, bummer.

That necklace is really beautiful though. :)

Yay! :D I still have a few things to finish, but I think (hope, anyway) that I'll be able to finish everything before we leave for Arizona tomorrow.

Today was the last day I'll ever have to work with one of my least favorite people in the universe. :D Her last parting shot at me before she left work today was pulling our future store manager aside and telling him that she needed to warn him that when I set planograms, I don't clean the shelves first. I guess if that's the worst she could come up with to say about me, I should take that as a compliment, but if you're going to make stuff up about me, at least make it something good!
