Nice job, Mallory. I trust your moderating will reflect your politics! Intervention as a last resort...
SO!! I have learnt that I have an 88 in my World Lit. I class, and that my teacher has canceled class this Friday, so that means a three day weekend for me! 8D
Alas, I nicked it from Ashleigh And that progress really should read nil, seeing as I'm starting over again (when I'm not charging round the country for my job - Manchester tomorrow).
I had my hair cut yesterday and it's a whole load easier it being shorter. I was almost able to sit on my hair so yeah... kinda had to do something about it, especially with the (mostly) nice weather recently. I felt really girly getting my hair done, considering I haven't had it cut in like a year and a half? aha. Also, had a nice day out in London today.
I'm happy because today I started my short story and joined a writing forum. Also I'm a little stoned and am listening to Rachmaninov in the Colombian countryside. Have to recommend classical music for activities like writing. No words to interfere with your thought processes.
Oops. Just checked the forum rules and realised I've already violated them. If a moderator could remove the inappropriate bit from my post (or the whole thing) and not ban me I'd be very grateful! Sorry.
Welcome Patra Felino! I'm very happy today because I only have 24 more days of high school for the rest of my life! Yay!!!
Happy to be about. Finally started showing some of my draft to people and they actually like it. There's an amazing giddy feeling sharing something you wrote and labored over. Time to edit, bulk up the meat of the story and then cut out the fat.
I made chocolate truffles again for Easter and the tempering came out nice without streaks and swirls. Happy chocolate is a happy day.
I dicovered a new Singer today. Really enjoying her Albums. Helps me get through those hard spots when I am writing something.
I am feeling V happy today. Had a lovely day out just me and my 8 yr old son at the London Science Museum
I haven't spent an evening just playing games and sharing banter with my best mate in way too long. Tonight has been brilliant. Even if it was cut short by having to start to get ready for work tomorrow. Wish that it could have been a Friday night where we played SSX Tricky, Gran Turismo and FIFA into the small hours. As it was, hammering through Sonic 2 playing co-op was awesome
^ I love days like that. I'm happy, I've got word back on the first two chapters of my dissertation and was told things like 'It looks promising' and 'I am looking forward to reading it in full'. Sometimes the little things really cheer you up.
Spent all yesterday morning freaking out over a huge math test that would determine whether or not I'd be able to graduate. I was so nervous that I ended up being late for class. But then it turned out, I'd done so well on it when I took it as a sophomore, I didn't have to take it this year. Is this the real life? Or is this fantasy?
Oooooh... that's great! Don't forget to tell all about it! Wow, that kind of stuff is awesome! Lucky you!
