I just thoroughly kicked Joel's ass at Scrabble. Go me.

God, I should be an eighty-year-old woman...

Scrabble is brilliant! I also kicked my boyfriend's arse last time we played. :p

    Word games are a giggle.

I had a dream that I was captured by villains and being tortured. Then I was rescued by a bounty hunter who looked like a cross between Aragorn and Han Solo. He had a very fantasy-sounding name and revealed himself to be a chaotic anti-hero.

I woke up, ran to my laptop and in an hour was 900 words into my first sci-fi adventure with a second one already in mind. =D

EDIT: The story isn't about this anti-hero bounty hunter. It's about the person of who's eyes I was seeing the events through.

I'm not exactly sure where to post this so I'll put it here.

I almost got canned from work today, no joke. A couple of expensive things that I saw last just grew legs and walked away. I had to have a sit down with the director and she asked me "how did that happen???"

I am so embarassed and mad with myself for this. I breathed a sigh of relief after it was done, I feared the worst when she called me down and I was almost shaking. But now my supervisor has to see the director and I feel like it's all my fault.

Awww, just because you're the last person they know of who saw them doesn't mean it's you're fault that they're gone...or that you had something to do with them being missing. I'm glad you didn't lose your job, Jon! How stressful. :(

    As for me...

MY SKATES CAME! I think I'm in love...

Jonathan, the whole situation seems suspect; when I was working stock in a small department store, I was questioned about "missing" (aka stolen) stuff until it was discovered it was someone else.

Hidden, some pics would help me to visual your happiness :).

Just got back from a pick-up game at the ice rink. My heart is still pounding, my muscles ache, and I have a fat lip. I haven't felt this great in a long time.

    Sounds nice, Sid. :)

I'm happy because it's possible for a person to look at things from the bright side, and that cheers me up a bit.

And things that manage to make me smile just like that- makes me happy too.

I (think?) I can guess what you're sad about, but good on you for smiling, chick. It really is the only (and the best) way. x

I think you're probably right, but also partly wrong... I like speaking in mysteries. :p
It really is not as bad as it could be...and hopefully also for not too long, but I cannot say anything about that, since I don't know myself.
    Anyway, thanks.

I have no idea why, but I dreamt about dresses... cream colored gowns with poofy skirts- heavenly. :D

Haha, no, actually not. Ball gowns, I believe- I had to go to some kind of party... but I don't remember.

Ball gowns are good, too. I love gowns. If I were rich, I think I would be really eccentric and wear them every day.

They are. I was just sitting in a chair until my head dropped to my chin and away I went. XD

A glass of nice brandy and an evening of research done, now I settle down with a William Castle movie and relax.

Good train journey back to uni - someone played the accordion on the tube and someone carried my suitcase for me up the stairs.

Nobody in the tube stations has ever offered to help carry my case up the stairs. :(

Aw, you're not struggling enough then. :p I'm weak and need help haha.
I think today was the second or third time someone's offered to carry my suitcase.

If I happened across you on the tube, Ashleigh, I would offer to help you. ;)

I'm amazed at how much better work has gotten in just a couple weeks. We have a new store manager and assistant store manager, and this is probably the most solid management team I've ever worked with. It makes going to work sooooo much better. Love it!
