Half pom, but in Australia that breakfast is pretty common in cafes. Add spinach, mushrooms, perhaps some chorizo, hash brown and tomato and you have what we call a "big breakfast". I can't be assed cooking all that other pretentious guff for just me I think an English person would have tea instead of coffee no?
Made to the Cape. My dad is well, and so am I. What's more, I walked into my dad's house to find packages each containing this CD and these shorts waiting for me.
Hhahahahaahaha nope! Those are just gym shorts with the logo of a metal band on them. But I am planning to lose lots of weight this summer, and now I have some cool shorts to wear to the gym when I de-fatify myself.
Seems like you have a really great dad who fosters your unique personality and encourages your personal goals.
While that is true, I bought those items for myself and had them shipped to his house in anticipation of my arrival. Thank you for your encouragement nonetheless.
Don't we all just love sending ourselves presents? I'm waiting on a new pair of Timberland leather sandals I bought the other day. They look just like a pair I have now that I have worn for 9-10 years and have literally worn the bottoms off of them. I can't wait to get them!
You and me both, brother. Except it's winter and the defatification has been "happening" for 7.5 weeks. Being older suxors.
I was going for a walk / jog (mmm) in delicious sunshine (mmm) this afternoon and an idea popped into my head: a way to generate some turn or tension in my first novel. Sorely needed, let me assure you, this particular idea ties in with the prologue-y bit and is making with the happy chemicals in my thinking box zomg, not only that. .. .... it ties in to book #2 and provides big background to movie / screen play plans. I mean. Not a done deal, but decidedly more solid foundation than anything else I have been trying to come up with. Good literary day today.
It's been a sunny-ish morning, and a ride followed by a walk/jog has netted me a vascular system rich with endorphins and a delicious smoothie as a reward. 600ml milk large banana 1/3 cup almonds 1/3 cup dates 2 tsp coffee honey ice blend that till it's smooth drink ~1000 calories or more
So tonight over dinner I explained my new Book #1 turn to my friend and it was well received. In the process I worked out the timing and some more of the structure of book #1 and how it ties into book #2. Happy that it's actually starting to feel like an idea for a novel finally.
Today I will quit my current job. I'm so glad to be getting out of here, but I'm so nervous about how it's going to be received by my current owners who are so caught up in themselves that one of them hasn't stopped crying for a week over unrelated circumstances (stupid circumstances, like planning a wedding, and being sad that her dad bought her a new BMW and she feels judged over it). Yikes. Wish me luck!
Lol. My knowledge got away from me, and I realized you all may not know what I'm talking about. The owners of the salon I'm working for. But "owners" works. They're essentially my owners right now.
That poor girl. Did daddy buy her a garage to house it in as well, or does she have to park it in the street where everyone can see it? "Good luck! Are you going to work somewhere else or what's the plan," he asked intrusively.
