Jetta FTW :D T and I are VW people to the bone. The Jetta TDI we have now sure has a lot of space and it's super comfortable. VWs are like warhorses. Reliable and resilient, and don't have an effing seizure if it happens to snow or rain. We used to have a Golf and a Vento before, but they were getting too old to maintain. Sympathetic cars... If you can say that about a car. o_O

My WIP story plan was mirrored in real life today. A bit fricken freaky.

Lots more fuel for the imaginative fire.

Woo! Just outlined a few chapters in my fantasy and I feel very excited about it.

Outlines are apparently just what I need when plotting out a story. :D :p

Thought I was getting pretty unfit, but managed to complete an ambitious run without stopping, including the steepest, longest hill in my neighbourhood.

Suspect my dog's perspective on said run might have been posted in a different thread...

I had planned to get up and head to the local Aldi for some 100% merino top purchasing for the measly price of $39.95 this morning. And had forgotten by the time I woke up.

Headed there tonight to purchase some dinner ingredients and remembered the tops. Thought, what the heck and had a look to see what was left in the mess that was the motorcycle clothing section. After rooting around for a bit I managed to locate the final 2 tops. Both medium.

Damn I am one lucky mother fucker.

I'm going to see Ralph Harris from Last Comic Standing (season five) next week!! Squeeee, I'm so excited! He's been my favorite comedian since the show, and I'm lucky enough to have seen he's going to be at our local Funny Bone!

I can't wait to get pictures with him and tell him how unhappy I am that he didn't win!

Just turned seventeen today. The chances of me being charged as an adult if I ever commit a crime have increased. :agreed:

Well, on the bright side, I still have another decade or so of free boosts to fluid intelligence before things start going in the other direction.

    ^ I'm 26 and still feel young. You're safe. :D

Well, I'm pleased to inform everyone that I've finally, actually managed to put down 10 years worth of anxiety, fear, doubt and regret over my stories. Long...story in and of itself, but I'm no longer afraid to actually write what I want to write about regardless of whether or not I put them on the internet. I'm no longer going to fret over anything that doesn't help improve my ability to tell those stories well.

In short, that anxiety? Kaput. It's a relief to not have to carry it around anymore. I feel driven to work on the stories, something I hadn't felt for those ten long years due to the worries.

New project. It belonged to my great uncle Bill and there are a great many reasons it's a complete piece of crap. But it's clearly been loved and fixed and cared for.
I'm worried however because it technically belongs to my mother and I've very sure that she won't be able to care for it the way it needs.

    I'm happy.

For the first time in weeks, if not months, I woke up with the urge to write something ... something new. ;)

Oh, sorry! It's a clock mechanism. I don't know very much about it, there's no makers mark stamped on it. There is the number 9 1/4 but that's not really a jumping off point. When I have the money I'm going to join a horological society and see if anyone can help identify it.

9 1/4 could be something to do with the size. The picture doesn't really show if it's large or small, perhaps if you st it at the side of something, like a toaster??

    I think it looks magical.

A few days ago, I went wading in a fountain and attempted to fly a kite for the first time. I've been an adult for a long time, but I was so glad I took this opportunity to let myself do this without caring what anyone else thought. Sometimes, being alone gives you the freedom/courage to do what you want without judgement.

It was great. 67 degrees one day, after the rain. Even when the sun was out and it wasn't raining it was in the mid to high 80s. Much cooler than where I live in California :)
