Congrats! I won't know word count till I begin the revision. One of the flaws of writing by hand, LOL. Edit: but I am halfway through my third spiral-bound notebook, 70 sheet wide rule
Thanks, but this is just the rough draft. Probably be a bit longer than the first book before edits and all that 'happy' shit.
Of course! One of my back burner WIP is about 300 pages or more. I can't give you a an exact word count because I'm at work at the moment waiting to start.
I just nailed my books title! I'm going to fly through the air now like Peter Pan! I found a new happy thought to add to the list of happy thoughts! I need to bite someone, this may not sound like a happy thought but it would make me very, very, very happy. Anyone want to volunteer? *razorblade smile*
Congrats on the book title! I was ecstatic when I finally got mine (I'm terrible at titles). And, uh, good luck on the biting thing. I'm sure there's a volunteer out there who's waiting to be bitten by you. Different strokes, you know?
After reading the latest post in the Question of AI thread, I just feel the urge to gleefully shout. AI will bring about the Spoon-ocalypse! Alright, I feel better now.
Thank you shenanigator. *stares deeply into your eyes* still don't feel like volunteering? You must be some sort of powerful magical creature. Different strokes indeed, I like my hand on villagers neck. This makes me happy too. Happy thoughts abound! Book title!
CT, fettered technology! I do,+quote let's see if your message about infernal AI shows up. If not I continue to strive, gaining what knowledge I can on this thing called the internet. Though if robot overlords came calling at my front step I will have to show them the courtesy I show all machines that toast the bread. My junk pile! Another happy thought.
I'm going to say, seeing the writing community come out against Miss Hopkins is heartwarming. And I've enjoyed the banter! However this is also inspired me to rename my book so now instead of Kristol of Ancea. It's officially going to be titled Kristol, the cocky b**** from Ancea. Or at least until who ever my publisher will be changes it. LOL
Very good JW. I like the new book title. It is good to be inspired yes? Mmmm you also bring up a delicious idea, I wonder how heartwarming miss Hopkins really is? Good to the last drop I hope.
Happy news CB a pub crawl? A concert or maybe a dance hall. Enjoy yourself whatever the occasion to your fullest.
iain aschendale thank you for the lullaby I like the riff starting at 1:50. Made me want to pick up my electric guitar.
Dear sweet blood of mine!!! I figured out the +quote thing! It's all thanks to your tutelage CT! Now to see if I can add a YouTube video, I'm getting very fancy here. I'll have to bring out a fine red wine, perhaps goth girl from a concert.^^ My favorite band ever. Failure, album the heart is a monster-I can see houses.
I just got 1200 grams (a little over 2.5 pounds) of cherry blossom honey from the honey shop. Totally local, no additives or pasteurization, I don't think it can be classified as "organic" due to the lack of control the beekeeper has over his little bugs roaming, but it's really good stuff (although not cheap). And as a side note, Latin or Greek or whatever be damned, I have no idea how they get the honey out of these guys, because this is what an apiary should look like:
I take it that the apiary is yours Iain Aschendale? If so, how very cool. I do not know much about apes just there close cousins, humans. The honey, I bet they enjoy that tremendously, what a treat. That ape looks like he is having very much fun. A king in his own castle. I would never harm that precious ape, the thought of a castle reminded me of the last king I met. I'm afraid all the kings horses and all the kings men couldn't save him from me when I came in through his window and surprised him. Kings blood is far tastier than honey, I assure you.
