Congratulations minstrel being a home owner is a special thing. Could i cross your threshold and see the place? It would be nice if Queen Titania of the summer courts would send some creatures along to help you move.
My grandmother has Alzheimer's and more often than not, she doesn't really know what's going on and gets mixed about who we are (she calls my brother by my estranged uncle's name almost all the time, for instance). But when I saw her this morning she was incredibly lucid, and the first thing she said to me was gently chewing me out for having done more weird stuff to my hair As far as I can remember it's been upwards of a year since she's been so clear-headed -- last time she was giving me grief for all my piercings, hahah. It's a hellacious disease, but at least it let me spend a little bit of time with her again. I missed the meddlin' old bird.
I hope she has more lucid moments. Alzheimer's and Dementia run in my family, something to look forward to.
In September each year we have an event in Uppsala "Culture night" over 500 events take place during the day and evening. The local photo club were I am a member have an exhibition, we give lectures and show how you copy and develop in an analog darkroom. Outside our premises in a small park we have a tent where we take more or less professional portraits of anyone that wants it. Free of charge they get a link to some place in the cloud where the can get their pictures. Three years ago there was a man that came by. “You do take dogs, do you?” It was a big dog so of course we did. Since then we start with one hour where we shot dogs. We usually manage about fifteen. Then we shoot people for four hours. There are always some very cute dogs.
One of my favorite movie moments was in Buffy (Kristy Swanson. There can be only one!) when the hoard of infected students is outside the dance.
one example of her work. I did have a poster by her once. @honey hatter ? There are more bloodthirsty works if you google her stuff.
Whoa, she looks like Nikki Sixx's twin sister!!!! ETA: Her rock star twin from another mother, Nikki Sixx:
Yep.I just think it's funny. LOL I could swear he either hung out with her or dated her when she was working in L.A. before he was in Motley. Before he was with Lita Ford. Nikki got around. LOL
Just remembered that I’m going to a concert tonight with a few friends. Apparently Macklemore and Kesha are performing, although we’re running a little late, so we might just see Kesha... should be fun anyways
I don't have a cat, but I do have two huskys and they say "Arr... Arr.. Arrroooooo..." which translates to Hurry your fat ass up, human.
Could it be her "name" for you? A long time ago I saw a documentary about cats and how they communicated, and it said that many if not most of them create a "word" meow for their preferred human. When my sis and I started paying attention, we discovered that her cat had a word for her, and mine had one for me.We were able to figure it out because we noticed my cat never said the "word" to Sis, and hers never said it to me. ETA: If she says it mostly while looking at you, that could be your name, according to her.
Interesting theory. Never heard of that one. Most are just wild comical theories of the cat commanding their human to do things for them, until they completely dominate the planet and rule with a fuzzy iron paw.
