The Happiness Thread

I am going to try and write two scenes today without looking at the Rough... that way the rough can have unique content from the revision. Also, the two scenes are pretty short and easy to write even without looking. They are pretty straight forward and I might be able to add a bit more to the content already present.

 

Responding with a terse "Please remove me from this email" to a message with over 30 people on the cc line is one of life's purest joys.

 

Followed by marking it as spam!!!!

 

Sun burnt and sleepy from a great day of fireworks, light beer, pool fights and taking pictures with stupid poses. Forgot how fun it can actually be to just hangout.

 

I am finally on my working microphone talking to my boyfriend!!!

(and we're both skulking around online simultaneously, cos obviously that was the whole point!)

 

Been listening to Amazon Music all day, while trying to focus on writing. (sorry Flaw) it's a bit difficult some times. . I will do some in a moment. I did have some important choirs to do, such as getting rations and gas for Betty (MyYukon)

My head is a bit, iffy right now, but hopefully I can do some writing in a moment.

But back to Amazon Music, I have been having a great time with it, after finding and adding songs to my library (Free ones with a few exceptions), I have been listening to the 80s station, where they play random 80's music, where I thumbs it down if I dislike it (Only about 2 or 3 songs so far) , let it play out, or thumbs it up if I really like it. And in some cases add it to my library for later listening pleasure.

I have a special Blue Tooth Marshal Speaker I got free from T-Mobile, and remembered late on that it's BT, so I have been using it.

Edit: Also I can totally use that speaker to blast @honey hatter guitar playing in my room. LOL.

Edit: Oh, and speaking of @honey hatter , I forgot to mention to her, that during one of her sessions, the song she was playing match perfectly with the scene I was working on. Forgot which one but it was beautiful. wanted to tell her but didn't want to interrupt, so I wrote in awe.

 

You know, I was going to fix that, but just knew it was too good to change, so I left it alone. .

The moment you realize there is a music artist named Eric Carmen... I know it's not quite Eric Cartmen... but still. one letter away. Hungry Eyes, aye... well Cartmen is most certainly has hungry eyes, for food and Cheezy poofs.

 

Also wrote (and sang the original 1970's version of) Celine Dion's "All By Myself".

 

Now my brain is serenading me with Eric Cartman singing Hungry Eyes.

OMG yes! As kids my sister and I used to make fun of Steve Perry in the "Separate Ways" video because it got so comical. Awesome voice, but damn that video was funny. ETA: And Jonathan Cain clawing the air like a cat instead of keyboarding at 0:55!!!!

ETA: The chick in the video looks cooler and tougher than any of them. Where were the longshoremen to beat them up? Embedding the video because this shit is priceless...

I probably wouldn't've gotten a new cat so soon after Deanne's death, but I can't get a new pet while I'm doing chemo and I know I don't want to be cat-less for upwards of three months, so we scooped this little guy up beforehand. He's the sweetest, cuddliest little motherfucker, too. I'm absolutely delighted to have him.

 

OMG the front feets (Not a typo. Feets)! And the baby nose! And the tummy! I heart him...

 

I love puss-puppies!
