Further to my previous FWW, I am happy to report that they (Tesco) are now stocking effervescent Vitamin C with zinc again. Sometimes, it's all about the fizzy things. :D

Phew... finally got through Part III of KoA... just one more Part and the Epilogue to go (in editing) and then beta time. :) .

I blame my slow reading and work for the slowness, also Part III seemed to be longer than I remember previously. Use to be a shorter part.

I've been there too! :D It's beautiful. When I was in Edinburg I had some time to kill and as I was pointlessly waltzing around a beautiful sunny day... no wait, it was a cold rainy day... hm... nope; it was both actually... anyhow, I ended up there by chance. There were some guys up there with an air balloon ready to set off. I felt the urge to run towards them, jump and get a hold of their basket as they were leaving the ground behind, but didn't. The view would have been majestic from up high but then again, I'm still alive today and so are they I guess.

Yeah, it's brilliant when you're going mad in a new place, shops and shops and shops and tourists and tourists, and there's this big hill you can climb to pin-point the castle, ha.

I had something of an epiphany about my mother's behaviour over the weekend, and that led to another one.

The initial epiphany was that one of the reasons for her behaviour, particularly talking at me with little discourse, was in part because I didn't give what she wanted. I used to get mad or sarcastic with her when she wanted a sense of guilt leading to compliance. So to keep in control she tried to shut me up by dominating the conversation.

The other is that I realised my idiot brother has been modelling her behaviour. He talks at me and doesn't give a hoot if I am completely disinterested in the subject, and he used to have no respect for my private affairs. I cut him off because of his monologues but I didn't think of it like that before.

Having these realisations makes me happier because it shows I can look at the problems without getting quite as emotional as I used to.

I have also started to wonder about my mother, and her mother respectively. Also my sister's behaviour. I'm now wondering how much is down to dodgy hormones. Both my mum and sister have had/do have problems with those, and I am now having problems too. Awaiting the result of some bloods atm, but I already know I have high androgens at the very least, based purely from my symptoms.

Good luck on the test results.

As I mentioned here, my mother behaves in manner that prompts me to suspect a level of NPD. It is actually an improvement in and of itself to be able to look at her behaviour without getting upset. I think part of it was that for her to feel that she was losing control, I had to be taking power back despite not believing I was empowered. It's pretty surprising.

Making great progress reading during my small Staycation here... :) . Almost done, near the end..

I must say, I enjoy my main Antagonist (not to be confused with the main villain) .... He is so much fun to write for. Anyways, added some more dialogue for him I found rather amusing and implies a love afar between him and a foreign Queen. :p . When he was just a young Prince. Oh and he may be the great grandfather to the current King of that city, who helps the MC and her army.

"One of these days I must tell you about Queen Siva, there was a fine woman and leader to her people. Not to mention skillful in other areas, as well,” - King Eres.

I accidentally got sent an email in Welsh today. I was pleasantly surprised - and pretty damn proud of myself - about how much I could understand.

Working on my new WIP feels like a Fanfic for Three Kingdoms, LOL.

Though it clearly isn't, it's just that the setting is in a country inspired by China and a region inspired by other Asian countries., and yes some of the names maybe reminiscent of generals in Three Kingdoms. :p . Clearly I am using Asiatic names.

Right now, as I mentioned i am working on the Prologue... the Southern Eagle vs the Northern Dragon. building up some lore and character list.

A Roman Princess in China, Princess Nina has a long road ahead of her. :p

Nah, I am good. Don't need to read it. I got my own reference materials. Plus this is my own world. so the nations in question are not Rome and China... I just like contrasting them with my world counterparts. :p

I have found a great youtube channel which has changed things for me for the better. I am learning a lot about myself, and that is cool and interesting. :)

I'm at my lowest weight in several years, which is still much higher than I'd like it to be, but it's steady progress in the right direction at least.

    1. It's 8:04 am and we have internet again! Still no power (thank goodness for the generator), but I'll take what I can get.

    2. AC Odyssey is amazing and didn't screw up historical accuracy when it comes to relationships. Plus, I made a guy puke because Alexios slept with the guy's dad.
