I'm confused...

Turns out my brother's constant monologue about things only he's interested in (out of our family) can be helpful sometimes.

Yes it is. I recently started getting serious about writing. I've written many stories, but I always let them die out and I lose interest in writing. I want to actually stay committed to the story I'm currently working on.

 

Same here. I've never been able to finish anything beyond 5,000 words. I joined another forum when I was fourteen but I don't go there much any more. It's kind of dying, which is sad.

 

I think I've hit the gem with this one though. Hopefully my hunch isn't wrong. Thanks for your help

Yeah, it's a pretty great place. It's fairly laid back and quite a few people have quite a bit of knowledge. So long as you're not a major knob or don't have any blatantly discriminative tendencies you should fit in well, even if you do have a toilet seat for an avatar.

 

I think I waited a whole 30 seconds before posting after joining. Got my hand patted by the keeblers just as fast. Give yourself some time to get to know the place. The people and mods are really cool and all volunteer and very helpful. I'm glad I found this place, too!!

Found a nice little Christmas surprise from the guys at work this morning, a $500 visa gift card with a note "good luck with your studies, we hope this will help cover some books.

 

My Dad just brought me a Tim's coffee for ploughing out his driveway. It feels so good after being out in the cold.

This morning my travel pass arrived! Now I can travel all over the country for free.
