Strolling down a musical memory lane, and it's made me very emotional. In a good way, though. I really do have The Best Guy In The World (@Cave Troll)!
Just had some very good news today. After a pretty horrendous year, which started with a wrecked roof last Christmas that needed replaced, followed by other major house issues, and finished up with my husband's mouth cancer returning after three years (had quick surgery and is clear again) it was suspected that he might have bowel cancer, due to an abnormality that showed on a scan. Today we went for his colonoscopy, fearing the worst ...and it turns out to have been a very mild case of age-related diverticulosis and is nothing to worry about. Huge relief.
I am glad things are look up for you two. (Will skip the camera feed though.) But that is great for you guys and that things are working out on the health front. Cancer can be a particularly nasty costumer for the most part. Also Glad that your house is not in a state of disrepair anymore.
I am going to Arizona at long last to see my amazing man (@Cave Troll)!!!! Spoiler If there was a delirious thread, I would've posted there instead.
One day I'm going to hitch-hike West and get my @big soft moose, and squeeze him and keep him forever and polish his revolver if I can say that, and read all his stories for him and cover myself in the cammo paints, come find me baby in the chicken shed, I love you Moose, chase me.
My dyslexia read that as “come find me baby in the chicken salad”...which really wouldn’t have been at all that odd around this place! But yeah, I’ll ‘ship that.
What's funny is I have actually taken up trying to learn the piano. I don't think I'm all that great, but I have moments of inspiration. Don't ask me to play a song. I struggle learning to read music and even playing by ear and videos on youtube is a challenge until I master hands together. But I believe I can. Maybe one day I'll be able to show you.
That's great. It takes time and practice. You don't need sheet music to figure out how to play, just let the music flow naturally and let your fingers do the walking. Best of luck to you and your piano playing.
I finally took the time to sort through the stuff under the bed. No monsters were found, but I did clear over half of the stuff. Binned, bagged for charity or condensed. I also discovered the affidavits that were done stating my daughter's home birth. They were signed by the solicitor after all. This has been an ongoing issue since she was born in May 2016. So here's hoping that she will finally be granted a medical card, PPS number and an Irish passport.
Woo! Fantasy outline done! 2019 will be the year I start working on the first draft of ‘The Alkorian Legends: The Fallen God’.
