Morning matinee show of First Man.

The Unhappy thread part is that it's the first show on opening day.

 

That`ll be the look on my daughters face before I get murdered. Why i`m not having children.

Happy that I completed the basic HTML and HTML5 bits in my coding. Onto basic CSS next.



Still a long ways from being able to do much with it but small victories advancing on the path.

 

I think I found a new web comic.

 

Currently around 8° C in my city. Two days ago everything was covered in a lovely carpet of white, and there was snow in the air. And now it's all gone!

 

I've got two (possibly three) new groups to attend in March, which I am looking forward to. One of which is crafty.

Also, my long awaited phone charger arrived-before I left for Arizona. I ordered it on 26th December 2018...but still. It did come all the way from Hong Kong. 6 weeks from dispatch to door.

 

Russel Howard put up a new episode online so that`s always a happy thing. He`s great and he`s great for releasing the show online for non UK fans. Did it with his Good News show to which I was also a fan of.

Took a long walk, with my dog today really reinvigorated me and got my blood pumping. Well ok, the uphill walk was reinvigorating the wind, the sun, and it was great. I then found out we had walked into a road construction site, rushing to get back without the dog getting in trouble, slipping in the mud...got my blood going. Feeling really productive now, happy about that.

 

He's been around for years, but I still laugh every time I see the Burger King guy in their TV ads.

 

The Burger King is creepy. Like, Stephen King wrote a book about him and then Burger King said, "Hey! Let's use this Stephen King monster as our advertising icon!"

King... King. Stephen King, Burger King. Stephen and Burger, the infamous King brothers. Makes you hungry for It.

 

Yep, those eyes want to eat your soul.

 

I can see it too!

Today I moved 40 centmeters of snow from here to there and... There was some old grass. I had been lurking under all that snow!

Try to play hide an seek with me, that grass. Hah!

Next time I'm gonna go and hide and that grass can try to find me! Let's find out if it can see me!

Next vacation/holiday in the Gobi Desert?

and it has an interesting story too.

 

A book I ordered a week ago should arrive tomorrow, according to the tracking. I feel somewhat deprived when I see how well traveled my books are compared to me. This one went from Dearborn, Michigan to Reno, Nevada to Billings, Montana to Chicago, Illinois and was listed as in transit with expected delivery Feb. 11, 2019.

 

Been getting a lot of work done today and just lately in general. Feeling productive and good, laying down some building blocks for various things.

 

The other half booked us to go away for a long weekend this weekend and get away from the distraction that is everyday life with its monumental problems. We're going to focus our energies on writing. I've. Got. To. Get. My. Novel. Going!

 

Posted a chapter of my fanfic for the first time in over a year. Started the next chapter as well. It feels so good to get it rolling again.
