The Happiness Thread

Tomorrow is the anniversary of when me and Lost started dating. Or should I say of our first phone call?

We'd been writing long PM's to each other for a few weeks when the forum had one of its famous melt downs. Both were quite unhappy with not being able to communicate like usual, so we shared e-mail addresses and also ended up communicating on Snapchat.

When I got home from work I asked if I could call him up - and we ended up talking to around three in the morning, even if I had to get up for work a few hours later.

We will celebrate this lack of sleep (and the past year of a LDR) with churros for breakfast, LEGO Movie 2 at the cinema and then an evening at an Italian restaurant.

I remember when we had that discussion on the Not Happy Thread joking about how you two should become a couple, then a few months later Lemie posted something on the same thread about LostThePlot going back to England and brought the thread to a standstill. It can never be said WF is boring.

Congratulations, you two! Hope this anniversary is the first of many.

So today is our actual anniversary proper, 22nd of Feb. We went out to the good side of town, did a little shopping, got sexy milkshakes, took in a show and went for Italian. Was good

 

Found 2 types of chocolate, a box of breakfast biscuits and some cereal bars I'd forgotten about. Happy days.

A friend who works in retail gets to take home overdue items for free. I am now proud owner of three XL packages of raclette cheese.

Now does "the whole forum" include all the people who showed up years ago and posted twice (in case they come back), or only for a few members (the "inner circle" so many swiftly-banned members complain of) or only people who've been active in the past week? Month? Year?...

Between Vegans, those who are lactose intolerant, and the gluten-free crowd we can probably cut that down by, what, 10K maybe?

 

I have been offered a writing opputunity that will challenge my current abilitys and will display my work multiple places where it will be attached to .... well shit I can't really say to much more about it. not at liberty yet. but once its all said and done then I will be sure to post about it more. but I have very happy about it.
