Just got home from a kickass time skating with my fellow fresh meat gals. I've got like three blisters on my right foot, but it was totally worth it. My god, I love skating.

Thanks, we're both really excited! The only downside is that they don't pay for training, which typically lasts for three weeks. However, after he finishes they backpay you for the time, so at least we'll only have to scrimp for a few weeks.

 

The fact that somebody actually would type 'please could you give me a recipe for rhubarb crumble ?' into google, makes me giggle.
But hey, at least they're polite!

 

I'm not sick anymore! First day I've felt totally better

 

I want to express my gratitude for this site. My enthusiasm for writing has waned in the past few year, and it feels really good to get back into it. This site has helped me realize my goals. I am learning a lot, and I've yet to find a place such as this, where you can communicate with so many writers.

I remember that feeling when I finished my last math class...and now I'm relearning everything so I can do well on the GRE.

I'm happy because Joel got off early, so now I have someone to sit on the couch with me while I turn into a huge basket case because I'm so nervous about skills tonight.

 

Reached 50,000 words on my novel. My first time ever getting that far.
Only thing that had made me happy today 8D

 

Going shoe shopping today, and to the library too! My favorite things to do!

 

And I've just cooked one of the nicest meals ever. Fried mackerel fillet, spinach cooked in butter, and sweet potato wedges. Absolutely gorgeous

 

Speaking of nicest meals ever, the KFC Double Down is finally available here. It's also apparently among the healthiest burgers available from the fast food giants. I'm excited. I foresee many drunken pilgrimages to KFC in the coming weeks haha

 

I won first place in my school's writing contest! I got a $100 prize, and I'm so proud of myself -- I really worked hard on my story, and I think I did great.

So I survived my exam today, and I think I did alright. I just can't believe it's over now... I'm going to have an awesome sleep tonight.

Wow, thanks you guys! I'm pretty proud of myself -- I worked really hard on my story, and I think it's one of the best pieces I've done in a while. Everyone who's read it has complimented me on it, and I feel accomplished. It's a nice feeling. Trying not to get too carried away with it, of course.

 

Very happy, When I got home from School, My electric CAme back on after the terrible storm we experienced yesterday.. The lightening struck the electric post and burned up the fuse thingy. Lol, But, I'm also very excited because I have only 9 more school days left till summer vacay!

 

Im in quite a good mood. Tomorrow is my wifes 8 week ultrasound and my first book is coming out september 1st

 

I'm reading Freedom by Jonathan Franzen, and it's most definitely living up to the hype. I'm addicted to it, I can't put it down.
