I'm watching a Liam Nielson film.
If you ever see him sitting near you on a train, get off

Had my makeup done: the foundation was way off and way too light. Thankfully it was a late night costume party—the former lessening the effect and the latter making it seem intentional.

The eye makeup was on point though, and I would never manage it on my own, so still great.

Also has the upside of being the only sober one the entire night (a teetotaller got a little mighty and left the costume party with a speech about how this wasn’t the party she thought it was five minutes in), I got to see everyone else up to weird shenanigans 〜☆ It was entertaining to say the least.

Yeah. I was apprehensive because I’m really only friends with one person there and know everyone else through her so I wasn’t sure how well people really liked my company.

But there were a few of which I got on well with and whom seemed genuinely entertained by me. I’m not sure how much I should put stock into that when I meet ‘em again sober ☆〜(ゝ。∂)

    Ha ha so funny.

Well, you managed to be all those things WHILE sober. Amazing :)

In my experience, drunk & high people tend to have a lower bar for hilarious.

I get far more latitude for being amusing and a sheer a delight when people are in that frame of mind than not.

I think I’m funny, but I have a nagging suspicion that could be personal bias. Ah well, guess there’s no way we’ll ever know for sure. . .

Finally have the audio recorded for the first 5 chapters.
Had to start over, since the first program I was using only
records 17ish minutes, and well I have almost 1hr 40.
I did forget about the valet's 'special read phone'. Oh well.
    Pretty sure that isn't a thing. :p

Change in plans bucko, there is a much better way
to examine this travesty I have been reading, and
I have an insane idea to incorporate this into a new
way of filing a book report.
Cause I have a better imagination than the one who
wrote the book in question, and also involves booze,
cause that is the only way to survive the logic destroying
powers in the printed mangled mess that passed for
    'story' telling. :p

Yes, there will be passages read.

Going to review it from the perspective of a specialist in the
Martian Colonial Marines, that is trying to help sole a suicide
of an Uldivarion Colonel. Cause why not play a much more
logical character to really round out the insanity of the book,
and play into some darker themes since it is the season for it. ;)

So it will be a video report broken up by each chunk of chapters,
as the story is explored and how it plays out with the fictional
investigation in the MCM, along with other things. :p

I'm feeling much better than I was yesterday. My anxiety level has settled down to normal (as in I feel calm and barely notice it) and we're making great progress at the soils lab I work at.

Apparently rats are less stressed when taught to drive in little rat-cars

    Linky

I'm not gonna lie, watching them de-stresses me too. Win-win, University of Richmond!

Now put 50 of them in identical cars and only "pay" the first five to get to the food dish, then check their stress hormones.

Don't forget to blast them with Doug and Zippy's Morning Zoo!

I was showing off my birthday cake (see below) to my family group chat and saying I could bring pieces when I see them tomorrow. Mum said someone else could have her marshmallows (since she's a vegetarian) and my brother immediately set his nickname to "Someone Else" and I wanted to share that with someone.
