I could have 2 years ago when I had my old 8-piece kit before I sold it. My mom surprised me after lunch, and gave me the choices between a Pearl 5-piece and an electronic kit. I decided on the electro kit, to save on having to save up for cymbals and heads constantly. Though I do need to save up a little for a double pedal, and read more about what the module can really do.
I run back from school today, I ordered pizza and I'm going to enjoy it watching my favorite xianxia show and I don't care if the world is about to end tonight. I'm happy just with that. Pizza's here!
A break from the internet?! What blasphemy you speak! Since I discovered etsy, there's no chance of that. XD
Mind is a clutter tonight. Know why, but that doesn't shut it up. Not tonight, anyway. Bastard is fighting hard. Wife has a cure - she's going to practice her piano skills. That's one way she an I bonded, heh, me being the one-man audience for her. That'll help, very happy to hear her playing soon.
I've achieved veteran status on another (non writing) forum. It may seem silly, but it makes me happy.
I've spent the day shopping, both online and in actual shops. I now have a whole new wardrobe and I cannot wait to wear it all. The only downside is that I have completely obliterated my bank account and now have money only for essentials.
Like shoes! I say this as someone who has something like fifteen pairs of work-appropriate shoes. My sister says I'm the girl of the family
I just threw out a pair of ox bloods and a pair of browns, so, time to buy more shoes! Not sure what kind of mileage you get out of yours, but I'm logging 20K steps a day, so anything that lasts longer than a year is damn near miraculous. ETA: ooh, and you'll appreciate this, I just got two more custom suits as a late xmas gift for myself!
Ooh, nice! I've been trying to find shoes. I'd like a nice little collection of coloured plimsolls so I can match them to my outfit, and also a pair of heels.
I no longer wear shoes. I imagine there's a dusty pair under a couch or bed somewhere. Haven't thought about it in years.
I remember when my wardrobe consisted of tennis shoes, t-shirts, and two pair of blue jeans, the pair I was wearing and the clean ones hanging on the back of the bedroom door. I did, though, splurge on a fringed leather jacket. Life was indeed simpler. I recall when I moved apartments and a woman friend was amazed that all my worldly possessions fit into one box. Now, sadly I think, it would take a moving van.
yep one pair of shoes, one pair of trainers, one pair of work boots ( I wear the workboots about 90% of the time)
