On Monday, my roommate for the summer (friend from college/Fraternity Brother) is moving in. He's a pretty awesome guy, I'm looking forward to hanging out with him.

I have officially started planning my latest writing project. It has been months since I wrote anything other then my legendary bad reviews.(by bad I mean they are just horrible and all over the place and such)

I have decided to rewrite an old Joan of Arcadia fanfic. I had always been rather proud of it but looking back one big glaring plothole of sorts is just really really bugging me. Most of the story will remain the same... sorta. Same ideas anyways.

So I am rather happy that I have settled on it. Should help me get back into the groove of writing and well it just be fun. :)

Speaking of writing, I looked at a character from my Heridon Copper story and thought: "Should I keep her? Will it be okay if I take her out?" I began to come up with all kinds of excuses as to why she had to stay even though she had no apparent purpose to the story other than be a rival love interest.

Then I remembered that I was the author and I was 100% free to do what I wanted. :D It's good to be the master of your own creation. So I took her out and she'll be the protagonist of another story...if I so choose to write it.

I got the Elder Wand when I went to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter on Wednesday. Yeah. That's right. I've got some serious power now. :p

I suddenly find myself very intimidated. ;)

My league had a bout tonight, and it was pretty freakin' amazing. Super, super close score and an amazing last jam by one of my favorite skaters. Loved it!

I had an awesome outfit, too...turns out no one understood it, but that's ok. They still thought it was cute.

^ Awesome. Uniquenes is always good.

I got a ton of really important, but also really boring, financial stuff knocked out of the way today. I also went clothes shopping to get some stuff for my upcoming campaign trip. And I see my boyfriend in 4 days. (He's been at a conference)

Had a very awesome (and late) night out with work friends I haven't seen in ages last night because they've left, it was sort of a reunion of sorts. Had far too many cocktails, ate a lot of japanese food, felt very sick, and now I've lost my voice. My friend Zerrin stayed over and we spent all morning watching anime in our pyjamas like a pair of children (we're both mid twenties) and giggling at them, good times!

Just pumped some iron and I feel happy about myself. =D My goal is to turn my 100 IBs self to 120 IBs.

(I want to donate blood some day, so I want to reach that point, at least.)

I have no homework for the holiday weekend, it's been rainy and pretty nice temperature-wise outside, I went shopping and got some summer clothes last night and I've accomplished quite a bit this weekend so far. :) Also, we're having a family barbecue/cookout tomorrow and I'm having breakfast with my friends on Tuesday morning. :D

I recently moved and don't know anyone in my new area, but yesterday we went to a DnD group and played an awesome nerdy board game with a bunch of stereotypical DnD nerds (the best kind!) and had 6 hours of fun :)

ONE OF THE LOCAL COUNCILLORS FOR MY WARD BACK HOME HAS RESIGNED!

    :D

I'd been hoping to get the Labour Party selection as candidate for when it came up for election next year, but this is even better. Plus, she resigned four days after the May elections, because she'd won a seat on another council, and the bye-election will cost and extra £3k to hold. So there's even a moral campaign I can use!

I've been writing for about 6 months now, and i'm over the moon that i can see vast improvements in it on an almost daily basis. At the start I had no idea what i was doing, writing long and rambling sentences that clogged up the story, instead of adding to it's value. Things are looking up and i'm really enjoying it :)

So, I take it your long sentences now have purpose and clarity and drive your prose along rather than retard it?;) Nice!

There's only 6 days of school left and since I don't have to take any of the finals save for one, it'll be smooth sailing. :D

I stayed up late last night, goal setting, and I'm pretty pleased with the "goal collage" that resulted from my efforts. :)

    ^ Way to go! :)

I got a lot of work done around the house, no homework, school's nearly over, I did a lot of reading and I found my Batman shirt that I haven't seen for the past month or so. :D

Wow that is pretty much what I said. When I first saw it. Bugged the hell out of me.

It's from a scene from Cloverfield after they go through the subway system after she is bitten.

Cloverfield! Yes, that's it, I remember that scene now. It was driving me crazy that I couldn't figure it out
