I have internet! Woohoo!!! It's great to be back!

I made two pair of earrings today and I'm making cupcakes... something including crumbled cookies, chocolate and peanuts. Should be good.

 

Peanuts, dude. Peanuts are what make happiness. Being allergic to peanuts would suck D:

 

Right now I'm eating the batter of a spoon and it's soooo yummy.

Basically, it works like Netflix where you can order videogames and play them. I AM SO EXCITED!! Now I don't have to drive to a videogame store to rent something anymore!

 

My kids have that ^ cause I got so tired of buying games that my son beat in two days and then he never touched them again. UGH. Love gamefly

 

I love working in the lab.

We just finished a procedure today and gathered some amazing data. It was so impressive and outstanding that it just blew us away! You should have heard us, jumping around and high-fiving and giggling... This particular project is gathering data that has never before been collected or attempted to collect. It's so exciting.

And I get to do it all again tomorrow. It'll be a long day (sometimes it can take around 12 hours), but I'm happy. I'm so glad I joined / was accepted. I get to talk and do research with / for some really brilliant minds --to say nothing of the PI; he's a genius.

 

^ That sounds amazing! I've always been interested in interaction in science, have always loved labs and experiments. Sounds really exciting.

I"m very happy for my mom, as of tonight she's lost her 35th pound, and she's been struggling with that weight for awhile. She's excited and way more confident now. I'm really proud of her!

My first day of work went pretty well, actually. I was tired after standing on my feet for hours, bagging groceries, but it went well.

Merc: That sounds awesome beyond awesome. I'm so impressed that you're enjoying this. Work is something we've all got to get used to if, well, y'know, we wanna make actual money. The fact it's going so well is a sign of great things for you, lady.

Gigi: Well done! I'm also impressed that you're enjoying yourself. I bet my legs would've caved in if I had to stand all day. I'm really hoping I get this job I'm going for, which means I should really get used to staying off my bum for longer than 15 mins a day.

 

I'm really looking forward to watching Die Walkure tonight.

 

It was actually enjoyable -- it's a fast-paced job, which is something I like and need. I can't have a slow job, it bores me.

 

I am very happy because my younger sister has just went to her prom, and she looks absolutely beautiful

I'm happy because my sister graduated as a nurse today! So proud of her!

I wrote a ton on my novel last night.

Wow. The encouragement everyone gave me in the Not Happy Thread must've really got to me, because I whacked out a few thousand words on my novel this evening and got to the 10k mark!! I'm so happy. And I'm getting into the swing of things. You know, that feeling where you don't want to pull yourself away? Yay!
