Yesss!!! I Absolutely LOVE Evanescence! That right there made my morning Now for October to hurry and get here.
I saw Evanescence in Little Rock, Arkansas a long long time ago when they were playing some songs from Origin and a lot of covers, and I saw them again in 2008; my excitement for this upcoming album is a bit like dipping my toe into spring-water; I want to dive into it, but at the same time I'm afraid it'll be something foreign and dissatisfying.
I booked a few tickets to a Children's Literature Festival the other day, but I didn't book one to see David McKee because I'm supposed to be volunteering at a festival then. But I thought, it's David McKee- the creator of Elmer! I can't miss that. So I booked myself a ticket today. Quite excited for the events at this festival.
Watching Rock Werchter live... on the computer screen, though. Tickets are insanely expensive, but I'd love to go there some day. (even better, sing there some day) Coldplay's playing now, it's pretty cool to get to watch the show.
Hey you guys! I'm back - I've just been to London for a few days with my family. Didja miss me?* It's been great, I've seen Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing done at the Globe theatre, and I've bought a bunch of books! =D *No need to answer that, actually; I know the answer is "no" already.
Me and my mum booked a holiday to Italy today. We've already decided that we must go to an Opera because it's at a proper amphitheatre or whatever outside sitting on steps that people have since gladiators and stuff. I'm excited.
My aunt's been to Italy a few times, and her pictures and stories are amazing. I really wanna go someday with her. So jealous of you! Make sure to take lots of pics so we can see!
So, you may remember I mentioned a super awesome internship? Well, I went in for a second meeting today, and they offered me the job! They also told me more about the stuff I'm gonna be working on, and it sounds insane...I'm super happy/a little terrified/very excited! Yay!
^ Ew. It practically was a monsoon here for a whopping ten minutes earlier. Knocked out power three times, and then it went away and the sun came out for the rest of the day. Yay PA weather. Not. Somehow Tim has never listened to a single piece of Veggietales. I'm still in shock about this.
No Veggietales? WHAT? Come on, there are so many classic silly songs with Larry that I want to type out right now, but it'd be best if you just watch them yourself!
Checked out Lord of the Rings for the first time and can't wait to read it. Also I checked a lot of books off my reading list.
Read LOTR! You will love it. I read the Hobbit in 5th grade or so, and didn't around to the full Lord of the Rings trilogy until later-junior-high. That spawned a frenzy of reading all the side-plot and historic-fiction books like the Silmarillin and so forth... the books out-do the movies as usual, but the movies are still well worth the watch. Enjoy!
