This one was about £70. It's a Samsung one, and it looks very nice indeed. I'll need a few days, though, to give feedback on performance.
I put my 2 broken laptops (discards from the student leasing system) together; the screen of one and the hard drive of the other was shot. Now I have one good one! Yaay!
I found my book after I left it somewhere (if I hadn't been able to find it, I would have been furious and upset since it's new)
Ah, good. I'm considering getting one myself as my Hard Drive seems to have filled itself. Now that I've been paid I'm going to start looking.
Yeah, so far this one seems good enough. It has generally better reviews than the new Western Digital ones, and I think it was a bit cheaper. It has an on/off switch, which is a bit weird, but works fine.
I finally got my name changed on my driver's license. I still have to change it on all of my credit cards, at work, on my insurance, etc, etc, etc...but at least the driver's license is done. And it only took two trips to the DMV, since I forgot to bring my marriage license the first time.
My campaign for people to boycott youtube tomorrow (because the Tories have bought the home page) seems to be gaining some momentum.
(is confused) I support whoever wants world peace. (No idea whether to support Brown, Clegg or Cameron  ) I am happy because the school week is nearly over!!
Today I've just been thinking alot about my relationship. Spoilered for those who could do without my lame mushyness! Spoiler I love my boyfriend, Matt, so very much. He truly is my best friend, and I just can't wait 'til he marries me and gives me lots of adorable curly-haired babies I've just never felt so happy and secure with someone like this before...absolutely nobody could ever compare to him. He just keeps proving how kind and reliable he is, and has proven on countless occasions that no matter how much we argue, or how much rubbish I go through, he is always by my side, guiding me through it. Mush mush mush, I know. But I really am so unspeakably proud to be with him  In other news, he won tickets to see the new Nightmare On Elmstreet + one of the old films, and we're going to London tomorrow for an afternoon out for dinner and some tacky horror films! w00t! What more can a girl ask for, eh?
Oh hun! You really do make me blush, you know. You're amazing, and I love you so very much. I'd do anything for you, Ashleigh. And I can't wait for Nightmare on Elm Street tonight! (Yes, it's mushing and sickeningly sweet, but shush all of you )
I am really proud of my oldest son (that still feels weird saying that... typing that). Tomorrow he receives an award at the assembly, and not just because of that, but because of how well he is doing, he has come along so far this year already. His reading and writing is 100 times better than it was last year, and he is really coming out of his shell now. I really am so proud of him.
I'm hopeful that this election could turn out well. Reviewing what I'm seeing on the internet, there is a sizable Tory support, but it seems dwarfed by the "anti-tory majority". Not only that, but Labour seems to be gaining momentum. Fingers crossed for victory!
I think it's sweet. I'm happy cause I bought the dress I wanted!!! (blurry pic, I know- and no, that's not me )
