Got my grades back. Looks like i'll be an honor student for at least another semester. Thank science for lenient teachers. I swear i'll never write 2 term papers in 2 days again... I'm pretty happy academically at any rate
I'm starting a new project today, in my breaks from revision (oh, the Employment Rights Act 1996, how I hate you). My plan is to write a 5- or 6-part web miniseries, each episode being 6 or 7 minutes in length. Unfortunately, if it's good enough, I want to get people together and film it, which might be fun. Although one lucky lady will get to throw a glass of water in my face and slap me, which is perhaps the best reason to do this job.
I am extremely happy because there are some truly wonderful people out there doing some really wonderful things for other people. It really is touching to see the things people are willing to do for someone in need.
I had an awesome day hiking... the weather was great and the scenery beautiful. Despite my sunburn and headache it was really nice. I'll post some pictures when I feel like it.
Well, the first draft of the first episode of my web series is finished It needs revising, fairly drastically in places, but it is something I can show to people I'd like to get involved in the project. My problem is that the two male leads are already taken by me and my best mate, and for episode one we're just looking for a lass to play opposite me. For the second episode we'll have three female characters, with three male, but it's just this first episode which could be problematic.
Awesome GNR! I'm happy because I'll be taking my final Math course for my history degree requirement in a few days. I know, sucks, but at the end, I will have no more math! =D
I also decided to try a new area of study in world history: The Ottoman Empire. Why? Because it's a civilization that's not at all talked about in my college and plus, I already took Latin and Asian History and am about to take Russian History.
The latter days of the Ottoman Empire are interesting. You should enjoy studying that. In my news, my knee problem appears to have abated enough for me to be available to play on Thursday Targetting a hat-trick so I can have hit 20 before June. It'd also be my 4th 20+ goal season in 5 (the only season when I didn't hit 20, I hit 12 in 2007/08, and promptly hit back last season with a whopping 53 - which is my best-ever season for goalscoring, bettering 06/07, which had me firing home 35 times). Goalscoring is the best feeling in the world, so hopefully I'll be able to feel it a few more times - and I have a new celebration to try out as well!
Legend! Nice one Just got a 12 spread page in the paper, pretty chuffed, hell of a lot of hard work to start though!
I'm happy because I just had my six hour GCSE drama exam and there were several moments that I shall never forget. Like when Siobhan fell off the block sideways in slow motion, or when although I wouldn't dance for a warm up, I was dancing on the blocks during a break, or when we were listing the songs on the teacher's CD and she didn't know how we knew them because she wasn't in the room when we were dancing to them, or when Millz was reluctent to hug Oliva even though Olivia had almost fallen off a cliff or...wow, happy memories!
I always regret picking up an extra language, rather than keeping drama on. Drama was fun, and I ended up being terrible at Spanish.
I forgot how much I love biking. Went ten miles today and I think I'll try for quite a bit more tomorrow. Now if only I had someone to bike with...still good fun though.
You know what, I love my uni friends, but being home with the old gang made me realise just how much I love them. They're irreplacable, and I feel sorry for those few people that went away to uni and decided to forget about their old friends; they made a big mistake. Besides, why do some people think friends have a sell by date? Sheesh, nobody likes a shallow friend anyway...those people never get missed, lol. I had the best night with them and I'm looking forward to lots more in the coming weeks Woohoo!
My dad just randomly decided to make some coffee before I got home from school. For the first time in three months, I'm drinking coffee at home that isn't already cold. And it is delicious.
My brother and his wife moved into their first house recently, and Joel and I are finally going to see it. When they moved their stuff out of our apartment, they left a glass 9x13 pan, so I'm baking them something in it before I return it to them.
