I'm finally writing again. The heat has stolen my creative spirit the last few days, but it's time for a resurgence!

 

TooL concert today. I'm so overly excited that a smile hasn't left my face since I woke up. haha

I'm happy, I've just had classical music on the TV, watching the Berlin orchestra, reading, and drinking a good glass of scotch. Perfect afternoon for me.

 

My eldest brother was promoted to a Sergeant recently :3 He's in the Marines, has been for like, 5 or 6 years now. He's an Embassy Gaurd in Berlin right now. . . and now he's a Sergeant dude as well! Gah, I'm so damn proud.

 

Wow, congratulations to your brother! That's really great-obviously his hard work is paying off!

Joel and I just got back from seeing Eclipse. I know, I know, Twilight sucks, sparkly vampires, blah blah blah, but I have to admit I liked this movie better than the previous two. And it was fun just getting to relax and go out with Joel.

 

Oh, I can't wait to see Eclipse! And Jacob--whoah, he's blossomed, haha.

It's July; so only a month before I head down to Ecuador for a well needed vacation in the homeland, and further if I can get I job down there, I may not come back

 

Heeeyyyy, Ecuador is pretty baller. A bunch of my friends are on a plane going down there now actually.

After a freak computer accident deleted everything (and my stories), I got me a new laptop and started all over again. I wrote 1K words for my story today!

I'm on vacation, FINALLY! And I'm going to Argentina with my friends in eight days!

 

I saw Eclipse last night. (Do not judge me, and except for seeing perfect men run around shirtless in the woods for 2.5 hours, it wasnt a reason to be posting on the Happy Thread. ) What I am happy about is that they played the Harry Potter 7 trailer in the previews.

I actually had tears in my eyes... People give Rowling a lot of ****, but I cant understand why. Jealousy? She's a fantastic writer. Harry Potter one of the best epic tales in modern literature, and there is a lot that goes into this story. Additionally, she has been a great inspiration for reluctant readers and enthusiastic writers alike. I dont know what I'll do when Part 2 comes out in July 2011.

But the trailer is amazing.
