I am happy because I'm back home (which still feels kinda weird at the moment) and I can talk to my guy again and because I made lots of friends in Spain, but then again... *moves to the not-happy thread*

I just rickrolled a DW fan on the Gallifrey Base chat room. I said "Here's the trailer for Series 6", but was a Rick Roll link.

    Reaction? Hilarity on my side.

Quote Daisy: "I have a huge headache bit i've got almost no time to nap. Got to get to work to do lots of physical activity and liane to screaming children."

Excellent trick Daisy: You've shown us how to be happy and unhappy at the same time with the same children!!.

I envy you your Chameleon abilities.

Drove by my old kindergarden and elementary schools in North Fondy today. Cried like a baby when I realized I was actually DRIVING past them myself. I'm all grown up. :')

Today, sonic gave me a chuckie cheese token instead of a quarter. I laughed so hard. It was totally worth the quarter.

Depends on who they are from. Few people in the United States are happy about a surprise call from the IRS (tax man), for example. ;)

Unexpected calls make my knees quake. I had nuisance calls from a weirdo a few years ago and I don't think I ever quite got over it. I don't even answer calls when I don't recognise the number. I think if their message is important enough they will leave a message.

Also, there's a lot of cold calling from marketing companies in the UK. Is it the same elsewhere?

EDIT: er, caller ID makes me very happy so that's good.

Johnny Depp visited a school in Greenwich, after a little girl wrote him a letter asking him to help with their pirating.

Apparently the school didn't know 'til moments before that he was coming, and these black cars just pulled into the car park.

What a lovely, lovely man. How many Hollywood actors, as huge and dangerously sought after as Johnny Depp, would do such a nice thing?

I love seeing things like this. What a decent guy to take time out of his busy schedule to do that for a little girl. Lucky cow!

Johnny Depp is one of my favorite actors just for that, and other reasons similar. Not to mention crazy insane talent.

Haha! Don't tell my girlfriend, she'll start asking him to help her pirate something else... :p

But seriously, Depp seems like a decent fellow. At the risk of my masculinity, he is also a good actor. And handsome cool.

I got accepted to one of my FAVORITE schools today!! :D And, as an added bonus, I qualify for in-state tuition, which I didn't expect.

Oh happy day! *skips around with glee and merriment*

    Oh my god.

It's 3:10AM, 8th of October 2010; and I believe I have just finished the first draft of my first children's novel (my first novel ever, in fact) at 61,715 words.

:D Words cannot describe how extatic I feel!!!!

It was the spiritual first day of fall today in Glendale, Arizona. Beautiful weather, the kind that makes you wish you weren't sitting in a classroom. You know, that perfect nostalgia kind of day, a day that makes you want to laugh and cry at the same time?

Also today, I met a very nice stray cat, got good grades on two tests, got an offer from a professor to edit his manuscript for real money, and turned in a decent short story. Good day today!
