I am incredibly happy because I have found my dream college!! Yes, I am 14 and have found my dream college. Corcoran College of Art and Design. *happy sigh* I can major in Photojournalism. It's located in Washington DC, the most beautiful place ever in my opinion and the place I have missed relentlessly since leaving it (i was on a school trip there). It's small, so it's closer and more personal. I can be surrounded by gorgeous history heaven and major in my top passion. And not be too far from home, either. *blissful sigh*
I didn't know what college I was going to do till the deadline hit my in the face. So I congratulate you and wish you luck when you reach the age of leaving home and uncovering an amazing chapter in your life! I finally figured out how to do that thing where you flip your pen over your thumb! Believe when I say I've dropped my pen and hit my peers over 500 times last semester trying to figure it out. A life accomplishment.
You're way ahead of where I was- I didn't find my dream school until about a week before I sent my application. My heart had been set on Queens, which is one of my province's best schools, but then I saw the reading list for Carleton's Humanities program.
Thanks guys!!! Agreen, it strikes me as funny that I have a quote from Conan O'Brien and you have a quote from Stephen Colbert as our signatures.
Thanks, Agreen! The more I think about it, the more confused I get and the more I question if I'm right or not. I've had this plan for about three years now... and now, only two short months before I have to make a very important decision, I am questioning myself. Glad to hear you got your computer running again --sucks about your music collection though. When I got my laptop a few Christmases ago, I had to transfer about 3000 songs manually... that was exciting. Marcel, haha! I've always wanted to know how to do that! I still cant snap my fingers. Gi, I'm happy that you've found something that fits your passions. There's not really a "right time" to decide on a school or anything, but I wish I had cleared my thoughts a little sooner so that I could have done everything I could earlier to get into universities and not have to be in the predicament I'm in currently. I also wish that I had realized the importance of my transcript a little earlier than the end of sophomore year, and I wish I had cared a little more in my junior year. Whether you hold tight to this school or change your mind in a week or next year, having that goal is going to help you so much. PS: I've never seen Conan, but I looooove Colbert. He's hilarious.
Conan is an IDOL. He is incredibly hilarious, and very nice. You should watch him as well--I personally think Conan, Stephen and Jon Stewart should restart their feud.
Congrats, em! Who? xx I am happy to be involved with one of my friends again. We are going to help each other so much right now... We both need it. We've got a vice, the two of us, definitely, and I'll be tightening it, definitely... and I will be much better because of it. I'm probably not making any sense, but the thing is --I'm happy! And I just wanted to share. You see? Problems. Have. Solutions.
I love it. I get to go for free, and the place that is putting on the concert is donating money to charity based on how many people go. I hope I get to meet him. *gets starry eyed*
Haha, well, I hope you do too! That's really nice that it's going to charity. Think of all the good that will do for someone. Happyhappyhappy!
Oh, so instead of writing for a couple hours, I could have just taken a pic of my computer screen and accomplished the same thing? Darn it!
I am happy because tomorrow Mason gets to see a real dentist, who can hopefully sort out his teeth problems and make him a lot more comfortable. (lets just hope that I am not bankrupt when I get back)
I have chocolate AND coffee!! Seriously, aliens could arrive only speaking l337, make it the official language, change the currency to pink bunnies, and make "my bad" part of the national anthem and I probably wouldn't be phased right now. (Once coffee or chocolate ran out the chainsaw would be revving though.)
I am happy because my dream of founding the college magazine is finally coming to fruition. To top that im gonna be working in the media center for the Malaysian Open ATP tennis Tour. This is shaping up to be a good month
Yaaay, just got an offer for Accomodation at the halls I wanted to stay in at Uni Yaaay things are really working out!
I found lesbians! For Chica that is. The little rescue dog who is afraid of men has now been adopted by a sweet little lesbian couple. While I will miss her, I think this is the perfect home for her. I am thrilled she got adopted so fast and that her fear of men wasn't an issue.
