I am just glad it is the weekend, maybe I get some writing, reading, or guitar practice done, or just sleep in.

Thank you Chimmy. You are too kind and as always, very greatly appreciated. I only have to get through the next 2 days to get past my previous record of 32+6. I'm confident I can go further along than 33 weeks though. Time will tell.

Thanks Em! I'm really nervous, but excited.

Well I'm off to redecorate my living room and then get onto the nursery items. I have a circus nappy stacker to make and circus shelves to plan out and make. Should be loads of fun. If only we had a horror shop in town, I'd be laughing when it come to redecorating my living room. sigh!

I'm happy because my mom went shopping with us so we could get fabric for our reception tableclothes and flowers for our receiving arch. AND she paid for both. :D:D

That's one of the first things for the wedding I've not had to pay for. It was a nice break for my American Express.

I'm uber happy cause my parents, Dan and myself all worked hard today (Mostly my mom and I though) and redecorated my living room. It looks awesome!!!! I think it is a living room that Sharky (Rumpole) would have been proud of. Definitely a living room fit for the Mistress of the Macabre and her Macabre Knight. :p

Will have to post up the pics a bit later so you can all have a look at our hard work and the awesomeness!!!

My face is yellow, my hair is blue (and is sticky 'cause there's still milk in it --yuck, srs), and I've still got lots of confetti attached to me.

Remnants of a fantastic homecoming and a winning game (24-22). :) It was a good final homecoming (as a senior).

The dance is tonight; I'm not going. Not because no one invited me (because I was), but because I dont have a dress, ticket, or motivation to go. Plus... I just dont look good in dresses.

The day didnt start out so well, but it ended fantastcally.

My buddy from Kentucky just got a new guitar and, in celebration, wishes to write an album with me. We'll be recording and building onto songs via his FTP site.

I can't wait to begin music work (with others) again!

It was an awesome homecoming game last night, even though we got our butts handed to us. I had fun with all my friends. And my house got TP'd. :D

Tonight's the homecoming dance and I'm SO EXCITED!!! :D My first ever homecoming!

Ok, so we have this fundraising thing in Media Studies to raise funds (OMG.) for our short films. I had the idea of a gaming tournament where we hook up my PC to a huge projector in one of the lecture theatres and play a racing game, 50p a lap.

I was informed by my lecturer that due to copyright issues, it wouldn't happen, but this was my idea.

So, I rang up Codemasters (the game's developers) and had a rather interesting conversation which ended with this e-mail:

    Hooray for stubborn-ness! :D

Oh, I forgot to mention, we're graded on the originality and income of our fundraiser.

I can just imagine the examiner:

"Cake stand, cake stand, cake stand, gaming tournament, cake stand, cake stand..." :D

Happy for Mercy! I forgot to mention, my high school counselor... I used to not like her so much, but she's taken a liking to me lately and is working really hard on my behalf. She sent me a lot of literary scholarships yesterday, with a handwritten, cheerful note that I can probably win most of them. I feel really good that she thinks highly of me.
Also, she came to my school paper's adviser and said that he has a great selection of students on his staff, in particular his news editor, Miss Mercurial... ;) I was really honored that she went out of her way (the counseling office is a good half mile from the communications hall) just to compliment me.

I feel like she's really supporting me, and with her help I can maybe get into KC.
