No rehearsal tonight!!! I get to have dinner with my family and not be rushed. I also get to catch up on the Tivo...oh..and go to bed at a reasonable hour.
I'm in a good mood because I am just working on volleyball stats. Quietly, without being interrupted, and without having to worry about stuff.
I got to see the budget statements (work) for the year to date, and I am well under budget for all my expenses. Yay me! Makes me want to place a huge office supply order...lol. Now if only I could come in under budget with my home expenses.
I am happy because so many people are happy. And because I am off work for the day. I'm going to get my hair cut at 3. It's nice and cool outside. And it is looking like a great day.
It's almost time for me to go get my hairs cut!!!!! It will have been two years this November since I last got my hair cut professionally, so I'm vairy, vairy excited.
Weeeee!!! I'm sure it'll turn out beautiful, Heather!!! (And that was officially the first time I called you Heather )
I am happy because today we are going to have a really hot day and Dan is going to be building the baby a little shelf. We bought some pictures on boards of a Giraffe and Elephant, and they are going to form the side of the shelf. He just has to paint it and nail it all together. It's going to look really good. Then I just have to get the ribbon, animal shapes and beads for the other shelf so that can be sorted out.
Thanks, Lydia! I posted a pic in the picture thread. Not very good, cause I had to take it myself with my cell phone, but it gets the point across. (And I noticed that ) How cute, Tor! I hope you guys had fun building it.
I'm glad you had / are having fun with your dad, Rei. I've never heard you mention your family before --although I have been absent from the Chatbox, so maybe I'm just out of the loop or something. I'm happy because, although it took me five hours to complete, my seven page research paper (which I just started this evening, quite studious of me, I know ) is done! Additionally, it's pretty much Friday for me now, because I dont have any more tests or research due until Monday ('cause I had them all on Monday, Tues, and today). I just get to take the academic cruise for two days. ...Anyone have a pillow with which you can catch my head as it falls onto my bed?

I love my computer.[/size] The wireless Xbox controller finally turned up today and we tested my MONOLITH PC mad on the massive projector. I had fifteen minutes playtime.
There's no place like home. There's no computer like the iMac that's sat idle in my alcove for a fortnight. There's no film like Return of the Jedi after weeks away from my DVD collection. And there's certainly nothing like not having to cook, and being in the knowledge that in an hour's time I'll be on my way to play football
Today, for the first time since Sunday, I dont have anything scheduled to do this afternoon. I am pleased. I am going to eat slowly and watch Jeopardy! and Law and Order, and life will be good. Also, I got what I like to call a certificate for awesome today. The situation requires a bit of explanation I am too tired to write out, but take my word on it, it's kind of a big deal, and I am very happy. My hard work is finally --finally-- paying off.
I had a lovely lunch with my mother. I introduced her to a new restaurant and had the hot Columbian waiter.
I asked someone for a huge favor, and not only did she say yes...she was flattered I asked! Oh..and it is Friday and I have a lunch date with my sister who promises she won't cancel on me this time. I love my family.
