I know what you mean. I managed to get up at an acceptable hour today, and I don't feel like the living dead!
If it makes you feel any better, Joel had to get up at 5:40 AM this morning. And Xeno, I was going to say something about your avi yesterday before I left for work, and then I forgot. I love minis!
I was cleaning my office and found a bunch of coin in old purses and just on the ground. I added that to the sack of coins I harvested from my husband's nightstand (after a few years of dumping change and not doing with it, I feared the nightstand might collapse form the weight). I still have some coin in my current purse and some in the ashtray of the car, but so far I have $103.65. I would like to take and go shopping, but I think it would be more prudent to add it to the food fund. Ah...poverty. Oh well. It is money I didn't know I had yesterday.
It's always nice to find money you didn't know you had. Even if you do have to spend it on food instead of something fun.
Just secured two A-reserve seats to see Tori Amos later in the year = (I saw her on her '92 tour but missed the last two times she came back to Oz, so extra ... woot-iness. \o/ )
I'm happy because I just completed a short story that seems somewhat acceptable to post on here! (after my two constructive reviews) One down, infinity to go.
I saw dredg on Wednesday and am going to a Dream Theater concert tonight with my boyfriend I celebrated my 4 year anniversary with my boyfriend last week I'm going on vaca with one of my best friends next week School's about to start again YAY!!!!! I have awesome friends! ^.^
I had a great workout last night. I got to hang out with friends. Today is Friday. The newsletter that was driving me to a panic attack yesterday is done. TGIF.
I had a fabulous mini-vacation in the next state over with my best friend. We did the normal visiting thing, and went to Kings Island, which was awesome. I am proud to say that I came home without a sunburn (last April, on opening day, I received burns that still remain on my skin to this day), and rode both Diamondback (the fastest, smoothest coaster in the park with an 87 degree drop) and Firehawk (the ride that flips you upside down and takes you backward so you're about falling out of your seat to your death) with no hands. I'm a bit miffed that on the way, a cop stopped me. He pulled me over for going too slow... I was going 50 on a 70mph highway; but my windshield wipers were too slow for the rain, and I had run off the road once before. I was too scared to stop because the fog was so intense that I dont know if there was a car in front of me or not. I didnt want someone else to run off the road and hit me. In fact, I dont even know how the cop saw me. He didnt give me a ticket though, which is good... I guess... Luckily, the drive back was bright and sunny. I'm missing Cincinnati already though.
Sounds like a good time. The only thing I like about living across the province from my best friend is that when we do get together it's all the more awesome. I am happy because I've been able to get a good amount of writing done the past few days. It's actually been warm the last little while and my cold is finally going.
Fun!!!! I LOVE roller coasters. I'm always the first one on any ride at any fair/park/carnival that looks even remotely scary. I always get nervous before I go on anything new, though. When you're just sitting there, you're thinking that this is gonna be so scary, and that's where I get nervous. It's easily overcome as soon as the ride starts, though. As soon as it's in motion, I just stop worrying and start screaming/laughing.
