Seven put her hand on his right cheek, she seemed to go into a deep and solemn pondering. "So soft...so fragile, it's strange to think I am based of you. Is this frialty a part of being human?" She asked no one in particular, after a moment she added. "How long? how long till you will die? Just how much time do we have together?"
Eudoxia Level 2 Point Amount: 180 Money Amount: 90 Eudoxia smiled as Seven got emotional once again. He found this side of her quite adorable. But he then moved her hand from his face as she seemed to be getting sad about human nature again. He then began to answer her question that she had asked, "Plenty of time, Seven. Do not become worried or saddened."
She seemed relieved at his answer but only a little. "Good, that means I have time." she mumbled to her self. "He will not die, not if I can help it." she hissed. Then giving him a smile she got up and headed outside, "get some sleep, I heard it's good for humans to shutdown every so often, Xin and I will stay up we don't need sleep."
Adwaita Adwaita would have given Seven a stern talking to about waking her, had not the A.I. got distracted by the others. Then Adwaita tried to go back to sleep, but it was quite useless considering everyone was talking together and generally not going to sleep. Finally, she threw off her blanket and sprang to her feet, skulking to the mouth of the cave. "I guess I'll take the second watch, since I can't get a wink of rest!", she grumbled as she went. As soon as she got near the mouth of the cave, Adwaita recoiled from the chill and splayed her fingers--a couple sticks set aflame and she stood nearby to benefit from it's warmth. Such is the power of Combustion. "If any attacks us right now, they will get more than they bargained for--me", she muttered to no one in particular, scooping her hair back into a long ponytail.
Eudoxia Level 2 Point Amount: 180 Money Amount: 90 "Alright I'll make sure to get some sleep, Seven." he said to the robot girl. He then stood as Adwaita began her rampage. He looked at the ebony girl and sighed. Maybe not out of anger or spite, but out of predictability. "You can go back to bed, Adwaita. We aren't gonna talk anymore, we all need some sleep anyway. I am sorry for awakening you." Edo apologized to the girl as he gestured his open palm towards the area she was just lying in. His light brown hair glowed in the light of her fire, resembling the light of the moon.
The night went by without incident with Seven and Torg taking most of the shifts, though the Commander was often awake as well when Torg was. An A.I. in Xin's body. She'd mentioned it to her superiors. Her orders: to simply keep watch. For now. Morning came and Shadow squad had a quick breakfast of energy bars and water from their supplies. They packed up their supplies and started over the bridge, the Commander in the front and Mason leading the rear with Seven right in front of him. The bridge creaked eerily as Seven stepped on the titanium-reinforced boards, but it held her weight. The ropes were even made of flexible titanium. They'd barely made it half-way across when a group of wild dragons attacked. Each of them with different colored scales. Red, blue, green, purple and Silver. The red one attacked Adwaitia, the blue one went after Mythia, the green one attacked Eudoxia, the purple one went after Xin and the Silver one went after Seven in an attempt to snatch her off the bridge. The couldn't run backwards or forwards and the drop to the river below would kill them. They would have to fight...on the bridge.
Adwaita "Blast it all!", Adwaita screamed as the red dragon charged at her. "Take this, you ugly thing!" Adwaita threw her khopesh straight ahead and raised one hand, fingers splayed. "Remote Teleportation!" The khopesh disapeared and reappeared in a split second--right in front of the dragon's eye. 15 energy. With any luck, the knife would impale the dragon's eye socket and go straight to it's brain. She would worry about getting the knife back later. For now, Adwaita ran to Mythai and grabbed her arm. "Levitation!" They both floated into the air on a haze cloud that Adwaita had conjured up, gaining height rapidly. "Though you could need a boost", Adwaita said, looking around to see what to do next.
Seven ducked evading the dragon's talons, they retaliated by throwing a bolt of electricity at the creature. She looked over checking that Edo was okay, she had to be exstra careful now that she knew how frail humans were. 15% battery used
Eudoxia Level 2 Point Amount: 180 Money Amount: 90 Eudoxia watched and made sure that Mythai was taken to somewhere safe or at least given some higher ground so her attacks could be more effective. He looked at the green dragon, which also happened to have green eyes. His purple eyes stared into its green eyes. He had no attacks he could use right now. All his MicroBots were either damaged or needed to be recharged. If he used his Funnel Glove, the tornado would have no ground to stand on, and even if it stayed in the air long enough, it would destroy the bridge. And his Termites had no ground to eat through, so his BugGlove would be useless. "Unless.", he thought to himself. Edo put on his bug glove and threw the termites on the dragons head, they created a circle on his head and exploded. He would have just had the termites eat through the dragon's flesh, but as soon as they touch or surround something made of flesh, they explode. After the explosion, he jumped onto the dragon's head with his Digital Sword and Digital Shield in hand. He would have to get close, since all his other long range attacks were useless. He tried to hang onto the dragon the best he could. "Oh shit!" he exclaimed. Medium Attack Used: 20% Damage Rate
Mythai "Thought you could need a boost", Adwaita said. Mythai's eyes widened and she locked her knees to keep her balance. "Yeah, thanks for that." she muttered. She didn't mind heights when she climbed trees, but trees didn't...move. She took a deep breath as they continued to ascend. The massive dragons below began to resemble sharks in an ocean, attacking their prey. Mythai wondered if her stun grenades could do any damage before turning to Adwaita, muscles tense. "Do you by any chance have a plan? I only have grenades and needles." she said, pointing to the blue dragon. Obviously they'd soon be next.
Adwaita Adwaita smiled at Mythai. "I just got a blainblast, teehees! Throw some grenades or needles or whatever you got, and I'll teleport them at our targets, giving them a better chance of inflicting massive damage. Deal? Okay!" The haze cloud they were standing on began to lower back to the ground at Adwaita's command. "Get those explodey things ready, partner!", she called as they neared the bridge and the dragons.
The red one attacked Adwaitia. Adwaita’s khopesh pierced the dragon’s eye and stuck, though it didn’t go far enough to pierce it’s brain. The dragon screeched in agony, now blind in eye. The devastating attack was enough to deter it from continuing it’s hunt of Shadow Squad. It flew to the other side of the bridge and dug the khopesh out it’s eye before fleeing back into the mountains. the blue one went after Mythia 100% The Blue dragon’s initial attack failed as Adwaita took to the sky with her prey. She came up from below them blowing a stream of ice, rather than fire, at them. The ice caked around Adwaita’s and Mythai’s feet and legs adding 10 pounds to both of them and making it difficult to move. the green one attacked Eudoxia 90% Eudoxia’s bots did the trick, exploding away the scales on the green dragon’s sensitive head. It shook it’s head in anger and pain in an attempt to throw Eudoxia off then raked a claw down Eudo’s leg. He let out a burst of flames across the supports of the bridge which creaked in protest for fire was one of titanium’s weakness. the Silver one went after Seven 95% The silver dragon screeched in protest as lightning coated it’s hide but it did little damage do to the insulation of it’s scales. It came back around and bashed a tail into Seven’s chest who flew over the bridge barely managing to catch onto a support with a hand in time.
Seven climbed back on looking up at her assailent in anger. "We have to get off this bridge, I can't fight properly here!" She yelled ducking another strike, the dragon came again and this time she leapt for the dragon's flank in an attempt to climb on and control the beast.
Eudoxia: 90% Level 2 Point Amount: 180 Money Amount: 90 Eudoxia was hit in the leg and would bleed until he was healed. The scrape was big, and it was much deeper than the scar he had gotten on his back earlier. He began to bleed, and his blood rolled down the side of the dragon's body. "Ahhh!" he yelled in pain. He had never taken a wound so deep, but he would have to put up with it. It had never been more vulnerable than now. Edo then took his Digital Sword and stuck it into the dragon's back. He would have stuck it in the brain but the dragon tried to throw him off. He used his Strength Enhancement to get the sword deep, and to get him to hold himself up. He had the sword in one hand and the shield in the other. He could barley stand on the dragon, due to the fact that one leg was severely damaged, and that the dragon was moving constantly. He then looked at Xin and Seven who were still on the bridge when it got hit with the flames. "Xin!!! Seven!!!" he yelled in concern for their lives.
Xin + Torg: 100% Level: 2.02 Heat wave detected. Temperatures rising over 1000 degrees. Torg noted, and Xin sprang high into the air, just avoiding the worst of the blaze. But she had not been watching for the purple, who's head snaked out, jaws closing around her middle. A sound more like an eagles screech came from her throat rather than a scream of pain, and her ribs cracked as she felt a blast of fire growing in the creature's maw. The dragon shook its head rapidly from side to side, its teeth sinking deeper into her. Xin. Forgive me. But i have to do this for your own life's safety. Torg said, and then Xin was shoved into the deepest recesses of her mind, in an unconcious state. Xin's skin steamed as her eyes went completely black, the pupils dilating to glowing red points. Grabbing the hilt of the sword, Torg stabbed at the dragon's eye, aiming to sink the blade into the beast's brain and kill it.
Mythai Hearing Adwaita's enthusiasm took away much of Mythai's uneasiness. She smiled back. "Sure, let's try it." Holding her breath, she shifted on the cloud and reached into her bag for a stun grenade, right as their feet were encased and the cloud lurched. Mythai gasped, but her grip tightened. A little ice wouldn't stop them. The haze cloud dropped deeper, soaring towards their target. Mythai raised her grenade and nodded towards her ally. "Ready? 1...2...3..." She aimed at the blue dragon and gave the grenade a toss. Adwaita took control immediately and Mythai saw it vanish in mid-air to teleport seconds later near one of the dragon's large wings.
Aren He was going to need to come up with something to counter large flying reptiles. But for now, he deployed a defense drone, then set it to release all it's charge on one of the dragons blocking their passage. "We have to get off this bridge, I can't fight properly here!" "Focus on the the one's blocking the path! If we can get to the other side, it'll be a heck of a lot easier to fight there things!" he shouted, then fired a shot at the dragon blocking their path.
Seven leapt for the silver dragon's flank and succeeded on latching onto one of his spines. He dove for the ground and rolled to a stop in an attempt to crush his rider. It would have worked had Seven not been made of metal. Still yet, her left arm was badly damaged. He took back to the sky ready to make another dive at her. The green dragon roared in pain as Edo’s sword dug into his spine. The sword hit a nerve and his left wing went limp. He crashed into the cliff face, sending Edo flying into the grass. The green dragon wasn’t as lucky and fell screeching into the ravine. One of it’s claws snapped a bridge support and it quivered violently in response. The bridge wasn’t going to hold much longer. The purple dragon’s hold on Xin released, dropping her battered body back to the bridge. His eyes became vacant in death and he fell into the ravine with his green brethren. Mythai’s grenade exploded underneath the blue dragon’s wing ripping a small hole in the membrane. The dragon landed on the ground in front of the bridge preventing anyone from getting by as it sent a burst of ice once again at the two girls. A shot rang out and a bullet lodged itself in between the Dragon’s scales. It did little harm but angered him enough that it charged towards Aren who had no where to run but backwards, and risk the bridge collapsing beneath him.
Eudoxia: 75% Level 2 Point Amount: 180 Money Amount: 90 Eudoxia laid in the grass for a few seconds, breathing heavy. He wasn't tired, but just stressed. He got up and his Digital Sword and Shield closed themselves back to their normal size and he put them in his pocket. He then take his bag off the back and lays his purple eyes among the green dragon. That hit to the ground hurt Edo, and he was still bleeding from his leg, he stood up on the wound, yet it was very painful. He saw Xin as she was in trouble as she was falling towards the bridge. He looked at the bridge as it began to tilt, because of the support being broken, and Seven was still on it. And also Mason and Aren were still on the bridge. Eudoxia knew what he had to do, but he knew it would be painful. He used his Strength Enhancement Chip and starting raising the one side of the bridge, since he was heavily wounded, he knew that putting a whole bunch of strength into this would hurt him. He then grabbed and lifted, bringing the one side of the bridge back straight. "Ahhhhhh!!!!!!" Edo screamed. His arms were being stressed and his damaged leg quivered under the weight of himself and what he was lifting. He would have put as gauze around his leg, which he carries in his Digital Holder, but he didn't have time. 10% Damage Taken
Xin_Torg: 55% Level: 2.02 Torg whipped around mid-air, blood streaming out in crimson ribbons and crashing to the bridge below. "Seven! We need to kill it!" he shouted, pointing at the blue dragon, "No one will survive if this bridge collapses! Send me ahigh-frequency wave and I'll channel it into the dragon's body!" Not waiting for a repsonse, Xin_Torg dropped to one knee and drew the stun gun every cadet had. But something odd began to happen. The metal clicked and whirled, coming apart in their hands, and then Torg clapped both hands together and a cannon shaped over Xin's arms. Torg's tiny fragments streamed back into the stabwounds in Xin's body, quickly making a barrier to staunch the flow of blood afte rhaving manipulated the stun gun and turning it into a hyper cannon. "Noise at 30% and rising . . . 40% . . . 50% . . ." Torg muttered, and a fiery glow began to emanate in the barrel. Now all Seven had to do was provide the power and he could fire a blast of heat at the ice dragon's chest.
Seven was a bit tied up at the moment wrestling with the dragon, but she hearkened unto her sending a blast of power in her direction. Then she slammed the neck of the dragon she was on with all her might, hoping to knock it to the ground. (20 energy)
Mason stumbeled as the Eudoxia straightened the bridge. It creeked in protest. It wouldn't hold much longer. He came up behind Aren and began shoving him towards the other side. "C'mon man! We gotta get off this bridge!" Torg's hyper cannon blast hit the blue dragon square in the chest. It let out a shreik and thrashed painfully. It finally recovered and sent a ball of flames towards where Xin was standing on the bridge. The silver dragon's head smashed into the ground stunning it for a moment. It flapped it's wings wildly before snapping it jaws around Seven's torso.
Xin_Torg: 55% Level: 2.02 Torg drew out Xin's sword and spliced the fireball in half, causing both sides to explode on opposite sides of the bridge. Rock groaned and crumbled, and the bridge shook more violently than ever. Eyes glowing, Torg took a calculated risk and dashed at full speed towards the dragon, the laser on the blade flickering as it lanced towards the dragon's throat.
Eudoxia: 70% Point Amount: 180 Money Amount: 90 Eudoxia's pupil's contracted from his pain. His legs cringed more and veins in his arm began to show even more than previously. He was in deep pain, the wound in his back was beginning to open itself, and he was still bleeding from the wound in his leg. "Guys, I can't hold much longer! I'll break my arms, or pop multiple veins!" Edo yelled to his comrades suggesting they hurry of the bridge before he drops the bridge or kills himself trying. "If I let the wound in my back open, and continue to bleed heavy, I'll die!" He tried to warn them of them impending doom if they did not get off the bridge. If he couldn't hold them all up, he would drop the bridge, and Adwaita couldn't save them all. He continued to try and hold the bridge up straight. 10% Damage Taken From Muscle Stress and Severe Pain
"You want to eat something? Here eat this!" Seven loosed untamed lightning down the dragon's throat, she unleashed so much power it lit up it's insides and boiled the water in it flesh. "Edo! Are okay?" she called desperately as she wrenched her self from the dragons jaws and dashed over to him "don't worry I'll protect you."
