When we find out, life ends. Because since the begginning of time we've been striving to find the meaning of life. When we find it, there's no meaning to life. Thus life ends.
I think you're getting confused between the understanding of the meaning of life and the purpose of life. Life is meaningless otherwise it wouldn't end, but it has a purpose which depends on you. Ah, such is the greatness of free will!
re·li·gion [ri-lij-uhn] –noun 1. a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, esp. when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs. Many people use religion as a basis for thier understanding of the meaning of life. Where do we come from, why are we here, and where are we going? In there you find a purpose for the Universe. Without a knowledge of these things one can only accept a purpose for our lives based on facts that we believe to be true (remember people once believed the world being flat was a fact) - we are born, we live, and then we die. So the only thing we can do is make the best of what we have and leave a legacy to be remembered. Like Max said, we each find our individual purpose. As for the meaning instead of purpose, find the answers to the three questions above and you'll find a meaning - at least I did. zb
People are always searching for the deeper meaning, a higher cause. Some find it in Churches, Cults, Gangs, strangely enough...no one seems to fully grasp that the meaning of life is what you make of it
Meaning of life is love and compassion. Peace and hate have their place but the real meaning is in your heart. Your meaning in life can hide within your fears. Life loses maening slowly when the ones you love pass away or leave you forever.
