I should have specified hard rock, or heavy metal, power metal, true metal, thrash, some doom. We could have made a separate thread for Death, Black, screamo, grind core, etc. Good input though.
Are you saying Black Metal isn't TRVE METAL? Black and Death came straight out of thrash and heavy metal, so it's hard to say they're not TRVE METAL. However, you are right about screamo and grindcore. They are not TRVE METAL; those who support these genres are false teachers, imposters in the holy faith of metal.
Friederich, there are many many different sub genres of metal I’m sure you know. I was trying to discover stuff I never heard of. I personally prefer hard rock / early metal. Even more specifically, female fronted hard rock, metal. Again , thanks for the inputs

Obscura, "Emergent Evolution." Tech Death is my favorite. I like how the ELO choirs come in. Gojira, "The Cell." These guys are at the top of their game. This video is badass too. I like the inversions.
