salutations THE MIRACLE LIFE OF EDGAR MINT one of my favorite books of all time, EDGAR MINT is the helter-skelter tale of a half breed child, his life, loves, tradgedies, betrayals. not your average ficticious biography, this is Udall in his element. Unique narritive (udall often switchs perspectaives) and a harsh south western setting bare life as an native american half breed to the bone. Abandoned to a hospital after his miraculous survival from having his head run over by a mail truck, EDGAR MINT reminded me, in a way, of the orphans in a dickens novel, just more vivid and compelling, nevertheless bearing the burden of orphanhood as dicken's counterparts. Udall at his finest.
