How about this thing stumbling down the road while your driving. :p

Oh yes!!! :D I'll use this somewhen, you'd better believe me! Sadly, I've already used the idea with the wedding party and the balloon, but next time you're on :D

Oof. Something similar happened to me with a conversion van filled with shrimp. I wonder which smelled worse.

And right on cue this happened in Boston this morning! A drunk trucker with 38000 lbs of cheese!

iheartbeaver.jpg On the side of the road... sort of. But not abandoned. Made me laugh for a long time when I saw it. Of course it was about 3 am and I was loaded on caffeine. (I think I did the image wrong.)

That is a lot of cheese. Little more than a truck load. :p

The weirdest thing I have seen on a paved road is a naked guy holding a jar of mayonnaise. I slowed down, he waved and pointed his finger at me.

He had an expression of glee on his face, he also was dancing a bit to what ever music was Playing on his head.

If it matters he was a black man, (the area is rural Alabama) impressive afro parted down the middle. ( trying to convey image here)

I am thinking meth. Lots of that in the area.

It is not unusual for the locals to congregate on the road shoulder, and even in the road itself. ( houses are about 25' off the pavement) Several times I have even seen people laying down in the middle of the road.

    Blows my mind.

Obviously not a lot of traffic, but what there is moves pretty fast. Especially logging trucks.

When I was 17 or so, my friends and I went into Chicago to Belmont Street. Don't know about now, but at the time, Belmont was the freak/punk/gay district of the city. We were waiting in line to get into Medusa's (a juice bar. Ah, for the days of juice bars, clove cigarettes, and cars that never ran on all cylinders....) and the exchange went something like this:

"Um, dude, did you just see that?"

"You mean the guy with the beard and the shaved head?"

"Yup. And no shirt but lots of tattoos?"

"Wearing a leather miniskirt and fishnets?"

"Yeah, him. The one on roller-skates..."

    "Uh-huh, I saw him too."

    Good times.
