'Martin Simpson, who I am proud to call "friend" penned this wonderful song at the behest of June Tabor. a true story about a courageous man and his donkey, who saved 300 lives under the worst of conditions [in Gallipoli].'

Want to check first, is this yours, and only reason I'm asking is it's very different from the pure ambients you've shared?
Not a fan of dark or heavy music. I find that kind of music causes me to retract my soul, it weighs me down. I prefer uplifting music that invites me to open up and venture beyond the boundaries of my soul. However, though it would never go on my playlist, for reasons just stated, I like your creative effort, for this piece nails the dark ominous atmosphere of that genre; the constant pounding of the beat; I visualise a relentless problem that's driving someone a tad insane.
Came across this a few weeks ago. Amazing track with amazing clip. The whole thing is wonderful, but there two special moments... - not far into the track the beat stops and there's this silence, followed by the fading in of a quiet version of the melody. - then when the melody kicks in full volume while they're under the tower. - The first grabs my soul, then the second one causes tears to flow if I'm in a nice quiet mellow state.
Used to go watch these guys in Los Angeles. Band was right on the edge of making it, and then everything fell apart. Good music.
