This is another good one. Don't necessarily agree with some of the implied political messages -- it has some SJW-y moments -- but I generally agree with the sentiment. "Modernity has failed us." We can agree on that.
Song sounds good, video made me fear for my life. I've never trusted that I'm not one of those people who can have those light induced seizures.
I play this song in my head on a daily basis. Selling my product to small businesses is mostly a "no" game, but I win a few of the business owners over and get more on board. Today I got two people on the Upper West agree to a deal. This is great! Also, my product is not cocaine, lol. Its alcohol. So still a sin, but a legal one.
Dedicated to @flawed personality and @Cave Troll . Every time I hear this song, it reminds me of you:
Yeah, Beach Boys! Love their stuff. Shame I was born too late for them. Fortunately, my parents between them had good musical taste. My dad liked the old rock and some folk and country stuff (Eagles,Boston,The Who,Nancy Griffiths,Eva Cassidy,Eric Clapton,Leonard Cohen). My mum likes more of the mainstream pop from her youth (Beatles, Queen, The Shadows) and classical music. So I got a bit of most music. I hope my girls have the same.
For @Shenanigator . (You can thank the smart arse jukebox in my head. ) Abba-Thank You For The Music:
Heard this song for the first time on the bus the other day, and kinda liked the sound of it. They are an Irish band from Dublin. Somebody's Child-Toes:
Two songs that got stuck in my head this morning. No idea where either of them came from. Alison Krauss-When God Dips His Love In My Heart: Paula Cole-I Don't Want To Wait:
Putting up this version rather than the "official video" because the official video is stupid, it's got some sort of Battleship Potemkin/Siege of the Winter Palace thing going on when the song is clearly and obviously about a couple of musicians looking back at the decades.
